I can't give you advice on the garters, sorry. The girls handle all that themselves, and I don't actually dress in women's underwear. I shudder at the thought of trying to figure out all those clips and straps. Seems like on of those mind puzzles they sell where you have to get the ring off the rope.

LOL Remedy. Your ordeal sounds like what I go through when I try to do just about anything... but somewhat funnier.

Thanks Remedy and Foxee.
Want to see the whole thing? Since I don't think you can show images here unless it's a URL, the only place I have this pic on line is in my Face book photo album. I think you can only view it if you're a member. Try and see

Yes, but why would a respected national radio show want to interview some one who was self-diagnosed? I don't think they would, which is why I don't think they even thought to ask him about when he was diagnosed. They must have just taken him completely at face value.
It irritates me because Dad's Aspberger's is constantly a topic of conversation, and my step-mum tells people all the time, almost as an in advance apology in case my dad says something inappropriate.
My parents own a caravan park, and because of dad's lack of empathy and tact, he's managed to rub quite a few people up the wrong way. My step mum has pretty much banned him from any interaction with people who live in the park, and if he does say something that comes across as weird or inappropriate, my step mum rushes in to smooth over the incident with "You'll have to excuse him, he's got Asperger's see?"
Do you an English show with John Cleese called 'Fawlty Towers' where he plays a hotel owner? His wife on the show, Sybil, is always telling people about their waiter Manuel "Don't worry, he's from Barcelona". My Step mum does the same thing with my dad.
But every time the Asperger's is mentioned, I want to shout, "He bloody diagnosed himself for goodness sakes!"

Think about skipping the lingerie next time. There are lots of tasteful ways to pose in the nude that would likely show even less then the sexy lingerie, if that would make you more comfortable. To me, the idea of that is more appealing. But I'm not a big sexy lingerie fan.
I took a figure drawing class where I drew naked women everyday, (amazing how blase' you get about it) and of course the idea was to have the model pose in ways that were somewhat discreet.
The nude photos I've done are tasteful to the point where my wife let me keep all of them; although I voluntarily got rid of the ex-girlfriends.

Ah well, Malone. I was hoping that perhaps they had showed you or something. Garters, as it turns out, are going extinct anyway. I searched yesterday, and only one store had them, with the words "Prom 2008" splayed all over them. And as much as I enjoy encouraging children to have sex on prom night, no, thanks.
Joi - I would never be able to survive having just about everything like that. Eep.
Joanna - 'Tis a very cool picture. The painting is interesting; you look good.
They might not have asked him questions until they got him that morning (afternoon/evening/whatever). By that point, if it had been plugged (and radio stations enjoy plugging everything), it'd be hard to just cancel because they didn't do their homework. But you're right, they may have just taken him at face value.
I can see why it would irritate you. It's not something one should do even with an official diagnosis; it becomes an excuse then, which is demeaning for everyone else. People with Asperger's do tend to be blunt and offensive, but that doesn't mean we can't learn; manners go a long way in smoothing everything over. Indeed, to consistently be a problem suggests more of a behavioral problem than anything else.
It might be an idea to start shouting that. They'd stop then, wouldn't they? Besides, to give the impression that one if officially diagnosed when one isn't is highly offensive to those who are officially diagnosed, especially if the self-diagnosed goes around telling everyone what he has.

I suppose I could. I think it would actually make me more uncomfortable, at least at first, but it's something to keep in mind for the future.

Remedy, I'd try to help you out with the garters question but I'm older than you so I fear I fall into the 'don't wanna know' category.

I always assumed you were around my age, Foxee or a bit older, but not that much.
Anyway, the "don't want to know" category doesn't include people I can't see. It's one thing when a woman as old as my grandmother is telling me she's got the same outfit that I'm buying and that she loves wearing it; that I don't want to know. If a woman as old as my grandmother talks about it online, I don't really care either way, because I'm not face to face with her and not in an all ready sensitive situation. Not that I think that you're as old as my grandmother, but just the same.
