Angry Suckiness

I have done nothing this week. Nothing at all. I'm beginning to feel kinda lazy.
But since I have nothing to talk about, I'll mention a few annoyances:
-That I don't have my freakin' license yet.
-That because my freakin' stepdad didn't want to go this Friday, I have to wait 2 more weeks to take the test.
-My freakin stepdad is a huge jerk who always does everything he can to annoy me, including telling me that I make him sick when I started crying over my boyfriend, and then tried to take it back by just freakin' saying "I didn't mean it".
-I cant get a job because I don't have my freakin' license.
-Apparently I "make stuff up", so everyone here, don't believe a word I say, because who knows if its true or not.
-OTHER PEOPLE can't get their story straight, but deny it to the end.
-I have a bad memory, so my boyfriend takes that as an excuse to write off everything I say, because apparently my bad memory makes it impossible for me to say something factual. If I remember something that he doesn't remember, automatically, it didn't happen at all. Its just my memory playing tricks on me.
-I suck at writing, and its obvious. Everyone else is so good, but I just can't do it. I don't even belong here. All I'm doing is wasting everyones time.
-Minus the $300 money I have to put down on my new apartment, I have $50 total to buy food for myself for a month. At least, a month. Thats IF all that can go to food- I'm moving so I'll probably have to buy all kinds of new stuff, you know. THATS why I want a summer job, but looks like I ain't getting one. I'll probably end up borrowing money, and I hate that. I hate borrowing money.

I'm in a bad mood obviously. Its one of those one-minute-im-mad-next-minute-im-crying days. I hate those days.

If these are the worries you have, you're doing fantastic! Life.

You think everyone here is so good at writing?

Why do you think your writing is poor? You have at least a seed of talent or else you'd have no desire to write. It takes time to maximize your craft at writing and like playing the piano, it takes practice. What's the last thing you've written here? Have you written new versions of it?

Why not write some flash fiction and get it over with, no matter how 'sucky' you think it might be. Then you'll have something. Two weeks ago was the best time to start writing. Today is the next best time.

Wait wait wait... Take a deep breath, Modest. Its good you're venting.

I haven't read your writing. I'm always in poetry and I tend to get distracted easily on one piece, plus I seldom give crits because I'm so new. I doubt you suck. Everyone else here isn't good, because that is an absolute and those just don't happen. You belonging here is up to you and not how other people feel unless you are breaking rules or threatening lives. You can't force someone to waste their own time here. If you figure it out, you'll be a millionaire, and you won't have to worry about the car, the job and the stepfather.

I am sorry about the driving. When I broke my foot I couldn't drive and obviously walking to a bus stop on crutches in 6 inches of snow to get to work sucked too. That has to be frustrating.

My memory sucks too, I have to write stuff on my arm in Sharpie markers so I can get through a day. I get a lot of crap about it. I just dish it back out because no one is perfect.

I believe you. Hang in there.

Plus I saw some stuff you did for Oddville so you did accomplish stuff this week.

EDIT: Oh wow, I cursed in my hurry to comfort you. I apologize. I know this offends you. How counterproductive of me.

hugs,

Eh you shouldn't let your boyfriend write you off. Relationships suck when person thinks they are superior. I mean you gotta have trust that when someone you are with says something they say it with good reason. I mean... everyone is worng sometimes but just ignoring someone's view as wrong without having trust in what they say is pretty one sided and mean.

As for writing, eh, it's writing. How many people write and how many get paid for it? I will never be a professional writer, I'm sure. I have fun doing it so I do, don't worry if it's good enough or not, writing that tries too hard to be good usually falls short. The good stuff is usually the natural stuff, if you have fun writing it, chances are people will have fun reading it.

Astralis, you don't have to have talent to want to write- haven't you ever heard someone who wanted to sing, but they have an awful voice? Thats me.. well i don't want to sing, but you know what I mean...

Papertears, thanks. I know everyone here isn't good, but every time that I see someone talking about how they wish only serious writers, or published writers were on WF, it just makes me think I don't belong here. People probably look down on me because I hardly ever write. Thats why I wrote that new story, and posted it last night. So people couldn't say anything to me.

Toccoto, thanks. I don't know what to say to him about stuff like that- he gets mad if I even hint that I'm mad at him or that I'm upset at him.
I told him about something he said a long time ago, and he said that I just make stuff up and that he never said that. I said "you calling me a liar?" and he said that I'm not a liar, its just I remember stuff that really didn't happen, because my memory is messed up.
When I even hinted that that made me mad, he started to throw a fit on me. The only way I could prevent the fight was to say "yeah youre probably right- im not mad"
:/

Men shouldn't throw fits and people should always be open to talk. If your job has become the concede whenever he throws a tantrum that sucks. Maybe I'm old fashioned but men should be the stable ones.

You must have some talent or you wouldn't be wanting to write. I wouldn't compare it with others who are gifted with fine vocal chords and the ability to carry a tune. Writing is much different. Wring from this talent all possible creativity and nurture it to maximize your talent.

Then don't I was just responding. As for your car thing I hate driving Seoul is awesome I can get anywhere by subway and bus. It's cheaper and I don't need to be watched by the man. That's what they track you by you know... a car. If you don't have a car you are so much more invisible in this world. I am half considering not using my car when I get back to the states.

Not a conspiracy, it's true. Hell go get a credit card somewhere, most of the time they will ask you questions about your driving record to see if it's really you. I mean maybe not everywhere but like you said where you live you need a car. Not many things in this life are truly needed. Shelter - You can live somewhere without anyone knowing easily, paying rent to a roommate and using another address etc. Jobs - Jobs are based on the info you give, they ask for address and alot of times DL #... tun tun tuuun. Cars are easy to track, when you get stopped they look up your file. Say you have a fee totally unrelated to driving, if they stop you for driving they will find it. It's an easy way to track people!
