I hate being sick
Yes I do. I've been feeling lightheaded all week, which culminated into me not being able to sit up yesterday and today without feeling severe vertigo. I actually saw the room spin and everything. It was pretty scary. Anyway, on top of my lightheadness I also have nausea and such. This couldn't have come at a worse time, since I have to finish studying for those nasty AP exams and I still have finals in June and Prom in May, though I think I'm not going to that.
Speaking of prom, I'm tempted to go just to socialize with my friends, but I'm wondering if it's worth it. Tickets alone cost $90 per person, and I'm not much of a dancer or a talker. Personally, I'd rather sit at home with a good book or practice piano or something. A part of me says that it's my senior prom and I might as well go for the experience, but I already went (as a sophomore) to my ex-boyfriend's junior prom, so I don't think I even need to go for the experience. Bah. I can't make up my mind.
Anyway, for the lightheadness, my mom (who is a doctor) says that it's happening because I have really low blood pressure (around 82 or something), so we're going to the doctor's today to see what can be done about that.
And I hate boys. The ones at my school, anyway.

Now about the APs, they're tough, but not so tough you should kill yourself over them. I, personally, managed to make a 3 on the World History test, which my study habits in no way account for. I'msure you'll do fine, and you can always just do a bang-up job on the essays, being the good writer you are.
All I can advise about prom is that you follow your instinct, especially since the tickets are 90 frickin' dollars (my goodness, what are they doing with allthat money? Giving you all a pony each?). I did not attend my senior prom, but neither did I attend my senior year. A good night at home can't really go wrong, but a 90$ night you're unsure of is risking an expensive high and a disastrous low. It might be fun, good memories and all, and it is supposedly a landmark. Basically, just weigh carefully, and don't regret whatever decision it is that you make. It's just silly to do so.
And I hope you feel better, and I hope it's nothing serious. Be well soon, and don't add stress onto sickness! Bah, I feel motherly.
Get well,
-Kitten

Kit- thanks for the advice! I'll definitely take everything you said into consideration. I'm not too worried about the APs- I took English Lit last year and did pretty well on it, and this year I'm doing English Language and Spanish Language. I think I'll do fairly well on both since writing and Spanish are my strengths in school.
The teachers tried to explain why tickets to prom cost $90 this year, but they didn't do a good job of it. Unfortunately, we aren't getting ponies or anything . I think they had to change the date of prom because the track team has a big meet on Friday night, which is when Prom was originally scheduled, so everything had to be rescheduled to Saturday night and the place charges for rescheduling things. Or something. But it's still a lot of money and the place we're going to isn't really swanky. I've heard it's actually quite sketchy, but I've never been there before, so I wouldn't know. I'm probably going to end up going anyway because my mom's forcing me to, but eh. I hate prom almost as much as I hate boys.

I've been feeling ill, too
Last night I woke up at 4am with knots in my stomach and sharp pains. The weird thing is I thought it would just go away, when it obviously wasn't going to. Gues I was just tired...
I threw up for about 10 minutes a little later on, then had some paracetamol and went to sleep.
You may be thinking this is the end, but, alas, no. I had SAT tests in school that can't be resat at any cost, and so I had to find my way through a rather algerbraic day.
Now I am home in the evening and have only had half a tray of chips all day. And some maceroni cheese that my mom cooked especially. But I could only eat like two mouthfuls before my stomach hurt again.
I'm so hungry, yet I can't eat :'(

I had to do the rest on the saturday afternoon
Thanks for the advice, anyway, Lily
I never get car sick, my friend does though and they have to stop like every hour or so on a journey. I get seasick sometimes.
