I don't kill puppies

Let me tell you about my day......
It's not like I kill puppies or torture cute little bunnies, so what I have done to have this bad karma bite me in the butt? I try to be a good friend ...I keep my head down and don't get in the way but I guess I was a real beauty in my past life because boy am I paying for it now!!!! I stared a new job because I broke my last one. It seems that you should NEVER call attention to the things your boss does that are less than on the level. I suddenly became a problem employee with my very own tattle tale. I quit and took some time off. I just got a new job and guess who I work for???? The tattle tale's child. Small world huh? Since I need the job, I'm going to try to stay below her radar and hope she never puts 2 and 2 together. If thats not bad enough I run righ into my nemesis....Shelly. She used to work for me, we used to hang out, she was my friend...I use that term loosely. I once confided in her that I had a crush on another friend of mine and she proceded to put the full court press on him. She went from "How could you like him?" to " I think I like him." Well anyway.....I run into her at work today. She's all full of stories of houses, cars, men, better jobs.....blah...blah ...blah. To put it in perspective, My job could only be lower on the totem pole if I pushed around the mail cart. She only pointed that out to me 3 times in the 10 minutes we spoke. Oh, did I mention she is my boss' best friend too? So now it just a matter of time till 2 and 2 gets to be 4. All through our "friendship" she put me down to make herself feel better. If I had it or even wated it, she had to have it too. So now, I work for the kid of the person that helpd me out of my last job and she just so happens to be the best friend of a former employee of mine that needs to spend her time making sure I am well aware of her place in the universe. What ever I did....I'm sorry can I have a do over?

Fool! There is no karma! Life is not about getting what you deserve; it's about getting what you can wrest from the hands of everyone else.

I get paid very well to push around a mail cart and there are hundreds of others just like me .. in the same building .. a big house of mail cart pushers .. must work for Club Fed huh?
There is karma, it's how to explain all the crappy and good things that you take time to notice. Do you ever have good karma?
EB - I should start calling you EBenezer.

Joe Sarno: Karma's justice without the satisfaction. I don't believe in justice.

That's from The Way of the Gun. It's a good quote from a good movie.

I'm not going to get into a philosophical debate, because this isn't the place for it (be very, very flattered that I'm controlling myself here ), but let's just say that the idea of karma, the idea that there's some great and powerful force that rewards the just and punishes the wicked is blasphemous.

Apu: I am selling only the concept of karmic realignment.
Homer: You can't sell that! Karma can only be portioned out by the
cosmos.
Apu: He's got me there.
