    Have the gods grown weary...

... of their tired routine? I can't say that I mind, much, but something is wrong (beautifully wrong) when I can play capoeira in a park -- barefooted and t-shirted -- under a shining sun and the blue sky -- on January 7th in Central Pennsylvania. It's somewhere near 55 degrees F (12.8 degrees C) here.

Anyone else's weather gods getting a creative streak?

I’d kill for 13°C right now. Last night was 21, today 32, tomorrow we’ve been promised 38 (that’s 100 in the old money).

    At least we have aircon.

I live in northern Michigan. Our area is known for its winter fun. Snowmobiling, skiing, sledding, and ice fishing all bring tourists to our area every winter. Right now we have a slight dusting of snow covering the ground. The great lakes have yet to freeze-over, and my skis are still hanging in the shed. We need a real winter to arrive soon because local business is hanging on by a thread.

Nothing "creative" here except those blasted winds named after some Mexican generalisimo. They get created every year around this time. I've heard they start up around Utah and make their way all the way to the Pacific. Sounded like the damn Pacific crashing against my house all night. Screw it (or them gods), I got up this morning and took my bicycle out in it , anyway.
