Thread: Stephen King is a Genius

His "thousand words a day" thing works really well.

Over the past seven days I've written seven thousand words, which is pretty cool. The fantasy/romance novel is going quite well. I've figured out how to make the love story between the characters work, but at the same time I've had to throw away the original plan for the story, which was that it was going to be a trashy, hyper-sexualised, romance penny dreadful; now it a still trashy, hyper-sexualised, romance penny-dreadful but the romance is supposed to be sick and twisted, which is kind of fun.

How has your week been?

If you count my week as last Tuesday to today, it's been pretty eventful. If you count the week as beginning on Sunday or Monday, it's too early to tell. Glad you found a writing rhythm that works for you.
