The absolute final version of my manuscript, Dereliction of Duty, is now in the hands of Inspired Quill. After some really thorough editing, the novel will be released within the next ten days, in e-book format first. I tried to negotiate a dual release but the powers-that-be have insisted on electronic first and then paperback around Christmas. I'm not going to argue.
To those who offered to beta-read, I will be sending you the e-book whenever I get it. Thank you.

Have you already started on another? I ask that as I know you've written plenty before this. Or might you rework some of your previous MSs?

You put most of us to shame. Write, write, and then write some more; you certainly live by the advice you give. Keep going.

You bet. While the ideas are still in my head, and I have the ability to put them on paper, I will continue to write with great enthusiasm. Touch wood that it never leaves me.
Way to go, Sam! I'll happily purchase a copy of both, just to show my support for the author!
Remember why you like to read, and inundate your writing with your love of story. No great writer ever found reading a chore.
