Clearly I do not feel like working...

Every morning when I arrive at work I log onto WF to see what's happening. I usually respond to a few threads then start my work.

Today seemed to be one of those days where WF has been a well-needed distraction. I logged on as usual, but have been unable to really divert my attention to my work. Fortunately I do not have a lot of work to do! It seems to be my Monday madness... my inability to remove myself from the weekend mood that I love so much.

I also think that my unwillingness to work has a lot to do with my want for another job. I have been a personal assistant for about 5 years now and it really seems to be annoying me these days. I am tired of being someone else's skivvy. I have sent my CV out to a few places, so... *holding thumbs*

Good luck, Jinxi. I know what you mean. It's a Monday and I'm supposed to go to school in about ten minutes.

I was nearly late for work tonight. Had a hard time shaking off the weekend. Thought of posting it here as a How Was Your Week entry, but on Saturday morning, I had to attend a safety meeting. It was 100 miles, round trip. Really threw off my weekend. I have a Supervisor meeting this coming Saturday morning. I despise working weekends when I've already put in a full week.
They call me Spooky, Spooky Mulder. A joke to my peers and an annoyance to my superiors. Whose sister was abducated by aliens when he was a kid, and now runs around with a badge and gun yelling to anyone who is listening that the fix is in and when it hits, it'll be the crapstorm of all time.

Shame Dudester. I know the feeling. At my previous job I had to work until about 12:00pm on a Thursday night (after starting at 8:30am) and then also Saturdays. I worked at an Art Gallery, so customer service was top priority. If the clients wanted to stay until midnight drinking and looking at the art, it was my duty to stay with them.

So I have already had one regretted response as the position has already been filled.

You may not be a believer (I am), but God sends me certain places to do certain jobs. I was at my last job 8.5 years and the last 5.5 of that was pure misery. Several times, I put feelers out, but it's odd how things turned out-there definitely was a guiding hand.

I have a 'if it is meant to be attitude'. You try, and if it's not working, I keep thinking there must be something better I am waiting for. *grins*
