Easter Holidays coming to an end

The Easter holidays are coming to an end here in Britain. How annoying.

I haven't had a particularly good Easter. I've had to do quite a lot of revision for my end of KS3 exams. I'm trying to get a 7A or 8C in English

what do you think about easter, britons?

I'm not British, for which I make no apologies, but I do enjoy Easter. Particularly the Lindor chocolates I find at peoples' houses.
Let's see if my above post is deleted without explanation. Wouldn't be the first time.

It's just another excuse for all the lazy useless so-called "workers" to skive off and be unproductive for a few days, and all for the sake of celebrating the end of some ragged killjoy strung up on a cross.

I sing in a church choir. I usually get to the church about 7:40 to sing at both services. On Easter Sunday, I had to be there at no later than 7:15 to sing at three services. We were singing Handel's Messiah, which is a large and heavy piece of music. As tenor section leader, I had quite a bit on my shoulders, but the tenor section really produced.

We've been preparing for this for over a month. Twice, we had 8 hour sessions on the music. The choir, it is noted, is the hardest working group in the church.
They call me Spooky, Spooky Mulder. A joke to my peers and an annoyance to my superiors. Whose sister was abducated by aliens when he was a kid, and now runs around with a badge and gun yelling to anyone who is listening that the fix is in and when it hits, it'll be the crapstorm of all time.

Well i love chocolate, but don't need an excuse to eat it.... and i only got one easter egg (grandad always pulls through!) as I am "too old" ... WHAT! Never!!
Easter is good because it gives me time off work to do other more productive things (this time I have cleaned my mums house for her as she has been ill for a couple of years now and cannot spend long on her feet, and my brother's are lazy and do nothing, boy if I had a shovel and a deep hole sometimes ... )
Other than that it is just a big hype for everyone to by over priced chocolate and all decide to go out in their cars causing huge traffic jams and then whining about it... either Walk or deal with it! My car doesn't mind traffic, gives her chance to chill out and listen to some music
