Thread: Too much rain!

The rain has been falling for three days with hardly any let ups. Yesterday it finally stopped and we had a decent winter day. Now, today it is once more raining. We've had some flood warnings and many streets look like they have a small river running along them, or over them. The poor people in LA are no doubt facing mudslides and I'm sure we'll soon be hearing of homes sliding off of the hillsides there. It seems to happen every year, and I don't know why they continue to build where they do. I can't imagine that the view is worth losing your house.

Maybe they're in it for the ride...mudslide!

Build an ark, Gumby. We'll see if the rain makes it ov er this far. We've had snow almost every day since Dec. 1.

I can't remember the last time it rained here....I have never lived in a state where it hardly ever rains.

Actually, they are building an ark, Foxee...somewhere in...I can't remember the state...a museum is building a replica of Noah's ark. I would love to go see it.

I'm thinking of drawing a cartoon. A fellow is standing neck keep in water as the rains keep pouring down. He's holding a sign, 'The Climate is Not Changing'.
