    late home

Got in twenty minutes ago from a Billy Bragg gig in Bexhill, good to get in congenial company sometimes.

I'll bet most of the audience were waving their pension books and union cards.

Suprisingly varied, mostly in their fifties, some my age some late teens early twenties, as he pointed out a lack in their thirties, "That generation forgot politics and went shopping."

Was that a subtle dig or merely a Freudian slip?

I like Billy Bragg also. I'm a Wilco fan -- and although I'd listened to Bragg before, I really took notice when he recorded an album with Wilco based on lyrics written by Woody Guthrie. Worth checking out -- especially if you're a fan of either of them.
