    I'm Not Sure.

I had planned to start a new job this week, but the first four days have promised nothing but snow and I can't get out of my back-yard, never mind try to negotiate the maze of back-roads from here to the job. I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad one. The job needs to be done before Christmas, and at this rate of going I'll be doing it in the throes of the holidays.

My kids love the snow, and I hate driving in it. A good excuse to stay home. Eventually one runs out of groceries though. Hope you get a few warm days sooner than later.

It is like that here too, I went to the doctor's in the next village the other day and was the only passenger on the bus coming back, when he dropped me off the driver abandoned the rest of his journey and turned back. It has been snowing just about ever since and I have not bothered going outside again, I've written my article for next month's newsletter and a few other things. but it would be good to get some Christmas shopping done plus there are other things on the back burner.

December 1st is the first day of Summer here. Melbourne is quite infamous for its bipolar weather though.
Tuesday (Nov 30) was a beautiful day, not too hot, clear blue sky, sun shining, birds chirping. The whole deal.

Wednesday, the first official day of Summer, was raining, then muggy and humid, sun came out for a bit, then there was a thunderstorm. Then it cleared up again.
Today was much of the same.

Not prohibiting like snow, though I did get caught in two totally torrential downpours. I was saturated in an instant. Weee Summer fun. Haha.

Hope stuff works out there with the job, Sam.
I just wanted to use your thread to rabbit on about Melbourne weather, apparently. But I got back on topic in the end. Lol.

I've just had to clear the paths of snow around our block so that my russian neighbour's 3yr old brat can play on the paths. The shovel itself weighed half a ton, the snow stuck to the shovel, I'm wet from head to toe with sweat. I'm never doing that again! And I've two nasty blisters on my left hand from the shovel.
I've partly done my back in. Now that I've finished I can see that already the fresh falling snow is filling up my cleared and salted paths.
I'm a mature, single and childless male. Why the F! should I have to do this for absent fathers little brats to play?

We've been enjoying a few toasty 10 degree + days after a week of 10-20 below. We've gotten a lot of snow, but I'm not complaining...as long as the wind doesn't knock us down to 50 below or better, which is the winter standard here in eastern Montana.

It's worse this morning. It's been snowing since I got up at 7:30, and it does not look like stopping. I can't even see my back-yard now.
