    Gloomy. Love it.

After a week of intense heat here in Southern Cali, it looks like three days of rain and gloom. Not that I trust the weather forecasts, but I'm hoping that it'll be accurate.

I'm looking out the window now and it's gloomy and it's drizzling and it certainly looks depressing. The kind of weather that just makes a bad mood even worse.

I love it though. I'm loving every bit of it. I love the cold, damp, uninviting drizzle. I love the gray sky that hasn't changed since it got bright enough to see.

I don't know what it is, I just love this kind of weather. Some people find it depressing and stuff, I find it soothing and lovely.

    Yay.

As an extra piece of fun we can have, why not have a bash at humorously describing my personality based on my love for this depressing weather.

    Ready? Go.

    ***P.S.
On a side note, this weather is giving me a write-y mood. I'm actually getting a lot of writing done. Hot coffee, laptop, rain. Perfect combo for writing in my opinion.

Meh, the town I live in, three quarters of the year it rains. It can be a little tiring. There's almost always a slight drizzle going on, but after all this time I'm pretty used to it.
Let's see if my above post is deleted without explanation. Wouldn't be the first time.

Come live in Western Washington then, lol. Some days I really love the cozy raining outside, I'm inside with tea and a fire feeling, but it does go on and on and on and then you finally come into a sunny day like some cringing bat with watering eyes.

    Hey KLM,
I heard that all Canucks suffer cabin fever and need Vitamin D supplements to keep going.

I love the rain because my garden needs it, the farmers I know need it, the country needs it to support the economy.

edit - I forgot photography. If you shoot in colour, the best days are overcast without the harsh contrasts and washed out colours of direct sunlight. The road reflections, the highlights on leaves and flowers, all add interest to a picture.

We've been getting allot of rain here on Long Island. I love it the best when hearing it, falling off to sleep. Hearing nothing else. The house all quiet.

K3ng, don’t know you all that well
but I’ll write anyway, what the hell!

When it rains you won't need an umbrella
simply because you’re just not that kinda fella.

So enjoy the rain, forget the damn sun
cheers to the weather, let the rain come.

And remember that you’re not the only one
I play Gershwin when it’s raining, just for fun.
