    First day as a senior

...and I'm already feeling the senioritis. Actually, I've had senioritis all four years, but now it's really kicking in. I just want high school to be over. It sucks having to take six classes, eight hours a day, more than half of which are ones you never would have chosen, but had to because they're required for you to graduate.

And some of my friends I've lost the 'click' with.

I've only got two good friends at school, the rest are just people I sit with at lunch or in class because I don't know anyone else. It's better that way though. Get to focus more on school. Taking the SATs again in October. I did good last time, but I'm hoping to do better. Taking two AP classes, studio art (which is actually a lot harder than it sounds. There's research and homework and crap) and English lit. We had to write an essay today. I did a mediocre job. Didn't even finish. To be fair, though, she only gave us thirty minutes to do it.

It's been really quiet around here lately. I like that though. I'm hoping this last year will be drama free.

Going by your writing, I'd say you'll do well in your SAT's.

I know what it's like to lose that certain something with good friends. Horrible feeling.

    Good luck though

I'm hoping this last year will be drama free. High five!

You'll make it through, and then you'll wash your hands of it and get on with your life on your terms. I love studio art, but I did not take real studio art till college. And I loved my junior college! In my high school, all the flunkies got art. Art was my life and I only managed to get the art class in 9th grade. However, it forced me to take typing which is one of the few worthwhile things I did in high school. I am every day happy I learned to type, even if I am not terribly fast and still have to hunt for number keys, lol.
It's so much BS, high school, but carry on and let it be a lesson to you on how YOU want to spend your life and time. Stay strong.

It's not that bad as a senior. You just look around and you're like, man, I'll be out of here in just a few months. Oh and everyone who is younger than you automatically has this "reaction" when they ask you what grade you're in and you tell them you're a senior. It's pretty fun to watch.

Typing was definitely a worthwhile thing to learn. We all got taught in sixth grade.

Studio art has been fun so far. I love it. But I sit next to this really stuck up girl that likes to pretend I'm a wall.

You can borrow a can of spray paint if you like. I have just the colors for bruising: black, blue and gangreen.

Haha, I might just take you up on that. I'm not usually a violent person, but some people just tempt me so bad...

What do you plan on doing after Senioritis then Dream?

I got hit by Senioritis a couple days ago, skipped doing two math homework sheets. *shrugs* Only two points each, but I'm not happy with myself about it.

Do you guys get to skip Final Exams if you get As in the class?

Ha, no, Kang. We've still got to take em. And if you have an A in the class and get an F on the final, your grade goes down a whole letter.

After senioritis I'm going to see if I can jack my neighbor's trailer and go on a trip to Mexico.

This kid shoved me today. He was pushing through the crowd going, "People these days!" It's a high school, buddy. You'd think you'd get used to it after three years. I recognized him as someone who went to my middle school. He's really mean but people are nice to him because he's got diabetes. I wouldn't be, if I hung out with him. That's no excuse to treat people like shit.

That stinks, we don't have too.

And give me a call when you do that, I'd like to tag along.
