"Crazy" doesn't begin to describe it!

Hey guys! I've missed you all!

This summer has been the most hectic, stressful, eventful summer of my life...and that's just the high points.

I've only written the first six chapters on my next novel (no, that's NOT good). I have a really good excuse though, I'm in the midst of marriage issues (the "D" word is appropriate), working 40 hours a week, and realizing that I have not been happy in a really long time. All the negative issues are taking their tole on the writing, as would be expected, and everytime I sit down to scribble, it turns out awful! So I've decided to put the next novel on hold until my life is a bit more calm.

On the up side, my novel "To Stand with Angels" is, and has been since release, in my publisher's Top Ten Seller's List. My kids are healthly and happy, despite the tough cicumstances. Somehow, they manage to make me smile and laugh everyday. Thank god for them!

I see a lot of new faces here since I've been away. That's spectacular! I am going to try to visit a bit more...I've really missed this place!

Sucks to hear about problems in life Venus, but I'm glad your book and your children are doing well.

    Hope things work out,
and please visit more, you're missed.

Aww I'm sorry to hear about that Venus. My parents are having issues with their marriage too. Just gotta grin and bear it. I agree with Tom, we miss you here. Try to drop by more.

    Hope things get better.

Awww. Thanks guys! I forgot one really good thing about this summer. It's the first summer in 9 nine years that I haven't smoked! (and with all the stress, that's pretty darned amazing! Yeeehaw!)

Hey, I'd been thinking about you! Good to see you! Am sorry about the rough spots though. Sounds like you are hangin' in there.

Woah, sounds like a lot on your plate, Venus. Glad you're hanging in there. I hope the issues with your marriage work out, whether one way or another. Sometimes in life, you just have to find a secluded area is the woods not far from town, preferably a good twelve-by-five foot plot of earth (no roots!), and take a shovel there. It'll need to be eight feet deep to keep the scent from search dogs. Sorry, that was inappropriate.
Let's see if my above post is deleted without explanation. Wouldn't be the first time.

Lol! Right? I am hanging in there. I have the support of a couple good friends, and of course my kids, so right now, that's enough. Thanks for making me laugh...I don't do that as much as I should anymore!
