    My crummy life part II.

Today me, my dad, and my uncle went riding. I was driving our 750 Kingquad, dad and my uncle were riding in the side-by-side. As we were coming down a slightly steep hill my left front tire hit a rock, bounced up on the bank, and flipped over. I was thrown off into a ditch, the atv rolled once, and then again so I was squarely beneath it; from my waist up between the rear tires. It broke both the mirrors, bent the handle bars, threw off his pistol, and various other things. Yet the cooler and hatchet managed to stay on the rack, lucky me.

Anyway, from my shoulder to my hip on the left side is scratched up really bad. My left elbow is pretty smashed up, not broken, but swollen and hard to move; plus scratched up. I have a gash on my hip, on both my hands, my neck is scratched and sore, and many other places. My chest is sore too, I got caught on a rock with the atv pressing down. Other than that the bruises are starting to show up and they are many, and I have a headache.

On the way home I vomited to say the least, I hadn’t eaten all day and then the accident didn’t help. So, I made it home in one piece and I’m just sore now. Isn’t life grand? But, yeah, I'm thankful it wasn't any worse.

That sounds really bad, Vagarious. I remember when my brother crashed his bike and got hurt. He was okay. Had a few scrapes here and there, and a twisted ankle.

Those quads look like a lot of fun though. My dad won't let me ride a motorcycle but maybe he'll let me ride one of those.

Just stay home and take it easy. At least you have an excuse now to just lay in bed and get people to do everything for you. I'm a very lazy person, so I'd really ham it up if I were you.

Sounds painful, to say the least. Lucky for me, I don't normally get into multi-wound accidents, so I really haven't experienced what you are. All I can do is be empathic and be sure it hurts like hell!

One cure for this: ranting. Being like this is going to frustrate you, and some good ranting can help ease that.

Hope you get well soon, Vagarious! I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of you on the forum while you're bed ridden with your computer.

Hmm. Kind of surprised your folks didn't take you to the ER to get you checked out. Especially if you were throwing up and had a headache. You could have internal injuries, too, from a spill like that. If you're still alive, it's probably OK -- but better safe than sorry, I say.

    Thanks, guys.

I'm generally a restless person, so taking it easy is boring for me. Plus, if I lay around too much I start getting really stiff and can't move good. I have keep everything worked so it doesn't stick. I already managed to get to the barn and clean my mare up, wanted to trim her feet, but my parents just aren't up for it. Haha. Anyway, I think I'm going to be fine because my elbow doesn't hurt as bad and it isn't swollen anymore. Trying to sleep is rough though because my left side is so battered, and I sleep on the side normally. But I plan on doing some writing, hanging around the forums, and watching some old horror flicks with my grandma.
