Why can't life be nice? Because that means the world would explode.

I'm completely new to the site, got in a couple posts before the disasters starting hitting me left and right.

First my internet gets shut down for an entire week, which was horrible enough. But then, to make matters worse, our best mare gets her gut twisted. We had to end up putting the old girl down after only having her a year, and without getting a foal from her; which is not good for a breeding barn.

Well, the cherry on the top, my parents get into a horrible fight. Lots of cursing and snotting, with me leaving because I just couldn't handle it anymore. Now there is still tension, but its calming down thank goodness.

    Argh.

Why oh why, Vagarious? I ask myself that same question every day. I'm sorry about the mare and your folks. It sucks when they fight.

Heya Vagarious, welcome! Sorry for your horse, poor girl. There is always some awesome to balance the hard times though. It will come. Look for it.
And I remember my parents fighting. Still together, though. It will probably blow over.

My father has three horses racing tomorrow. I am excited; his horses did well last weekend and we are hoping for a repeat.

One should never stick around when one's parents fight until one is 35 or so. No good comes of it.

Sorry about the mare. As you know, working with horses brings amazing triumphs and senseless tragedies.

I hate parents argueing. At least in my house - and my buddies of that matter. - they never bring up any good points. it's liek the blindly go over them in their rage. so when they burst back it's only expected they argue with no grounds of restoration at all.

    lol, your mare sells horses.

Tell your parents to go into another room, and if any of the furniture hits you as it's flying across the room... you're suing... both of them.

Look for the silver lining Vagarious... that way you can peel the sucker off and send it off to cash for gold (they take silver too I'm told). Because money solves all problems!

Money doesn't solve all problems, but you usually have fewer problems if you have it.
