Another thread about a Haircut.

A couple months back I saw one or two threads about Haircuts, and thought I'd share the experience I've just had with mine.

Anyway, I go to a so called 'respectful and smart' grammer school, so the rules there are somewhat strict. Tucked shirts, button blazers, lengthy ties, the usual, and most importantly for myself and many others, certain length hair. Usually if it's over your eyes or the top of your blazer collar, a letters sent home and your told to cut your hair or stay at home. So, for a third time in the last year, I was forced to have a haircut.

I'm just, once again, completely pissed off my this rule. As long as we get the good grades, should it really matter how long our hair is? I'm a well graded student, nothing special, but if all goes well and I revise, I should hopefully do well in my GCSE's, but for some strange reason, my long blonde hair is bound to doom me to failure. Is it fair? Is it just me being a teenager and finding something to complain about, or am I right? I don't know.

But anyway, I have work experience with the local newspaper which I'm happy about, so I cut my hair to a decent length were it remained smart and not to...shaggy.

Anyway, I just needed something write and found this a little interesting, so apologies if I wasted your time.

Tom.

That's a load of bull! I'd tell them to stick their fancy school where the sun don't shine. It's a free world. You can grow your hair to whatever damn length you please. Unless, of course, you're in the military. Did school suddenly become a boot camp?

If it's not a public school they can whatever they want. If it is, grab your torch and pitchfork.

Personally I would never go to such a place, and if I by some means was forced to, I would don the following:

Spiked hair, dyed obviously
a ripped dirty shirt that happened to be un-tucked but showed my belly when I stretched
jeans with one side torn off at the knee and the other intact but still slightly destroyed
High heels
football shoulder pads with metal spikes crudely glued on
