my decision

Some of you may have remembered a while back in a different thread, I had posted that something in my life would change. It didn’t matter which choice I would have ended up making I was bound to lose one or another. I was scared. I chose the latter, and as a result my boyfriend of 2 ½ years has moved out today. He’s moved to a small town outside of our city with a good friend of his. I am sad. I wish things could have been different, but this had to be done. I haven’t cried yet but, I’m sure it will come.

A good cry at least lets some of the stress out. Sorry to hear that it was such a dilemma but maybe things will improve now.

Bubble bath, good book, early bedtime.

Thank you, all. I am very much trying to be a good sport and not be emotional.

Kang, yes he did but, I kept everything that he's given to me over the past 2 years as well. : (

I just took down all of our photos of us together. Damn, I'm being depressing. Sorry guys.

No need to be sorry Simplicity. Do you think it will be a good thing in the end? You can tell me to shut up and go away if I am prying =)

Nah, company seems nice right now. Yeah, in the long run, I'm possitive things will be better. We broke up on mutual terms and even spent the morning together laying in bed and talking and laughing. We knew at the end of today, he'd have to leave. We're not angry at eachother, but it came down to either my boyfriend or my house. There is an entirely long story to this, but I'll spare you all the details.

I find it hard to understand, Simplicity, but since I don't know all of the details (and it's not my business) I'll just take it on faith that it makes sense.

That's really amazing being able to spend your morning like that. And when you do get sad, it's good to know that its really a positive thing.
I've got the time if you feel like sharing. If not, its all good.

Wow. I don't think there's anything anyone can really say to something like that, but at least you two ended on good terms. Compared to a lot of breakups, I'd say that puts you one step ahead of the game.

A day lounging around the house in sweats with a cup of tea, plenty of chocolate, and a good book sounds perfectly in order. Hope you feel better soon.

I agree, Malone. If I was in Simplicity's shoes I'd be a lot less calm.

I'm sure it's all going to hit me at once, and I'll end up being an emotional wreck. But as of right now,I'm just feeling a little bit sad. I'm still waiting for those damn tears to sneak up on me.

Thank you to everybody for listening/ reading. The support is very nice right now. It's nice to feel 'loved'.
