A great past two days!! : )

Well, obviously, Saturday was a big day for us Huskers. Homecoming game, and home field advantage! Too, bad we got our asses handed to us by Mizzou. Everybody is already starting to question our new coach Bo Palini, and a bit worried that he’s not right for our team, since he’s doing the same thing Coach Callahan was doing right before we had gotten rid of him. A friend of mine, goes to every game and said this is the first time he’s ever left early. We were defeated 50-10. : (

Sunday, my sister Adrienne came up from Texas. This was the 3rd time that I got to enjoy her company since she moved down there 5 years ago. Her and I have been best friends our entire lives, and I’ve missed her every day since she’s moved away. Adrienne, just had her second child 6 weeks ago. She had a baby girl, and named her, London. An adorable and very calm little girl. Adrienne, had come up to Nebraska hoping she’d be in the delivery room while my littlest sister, Dannie, was giving birth to her first child. Adrienne’s wish had come true as of tonight. Dannie, went into the hospital at around 6:30 p.m. and gave birth to her baby girl, Olivia ( Livvie ) at 8:00 p.m. tonight. I’m an aunt again! I raced up to the hospital, and missed the delivery by 3 minutes, but was still so happy for Dannie.

Dannie, went up to the hospital dilated at 8 cm so it was too late for an epidural, she ended up having her baby naturally. She didn’t even break a sweat, she said she was just tired was all. The nurse said it was about an hour labor and a 10 minute delivery!! I was blown away, and very jealous my labor/deliveries didn’t go so quickly. Much kudos to her for being such a trooper. I’m incredibly proud of her. Her long time boyfriend couldn’t be there tonight, as he was deployed back to Iraq last Monday. He gave Dannie, his dog tags and wanted a photo of Livvie taken with them. The whole event was overwhelming and very emotional. I had such a great past two days! : )

Congratulations, auntie!

Her first child and she only had an hour-and-ten labor? Everyone should be so lucky. lol

Wow, that's great. Not losing at the homecoming game, that is, but the rest... Congratulations!

Hooray! I love college football. But I love new babies more, especially if they are mine, or a niece or nephew. Congrats!
