And I'm not even a tall poppy

I wasn’t going to tell anyone this, but hey, what the heck. I’m big enough and ugly enough to handle it.

Three days ago, I asked a question of a certain non-practising member of WF. “Send me some of your stuff”, I was told. What that had to do with my question puzzled me, but still, this person had been around the block once or twice and I supposed they knew what they were talking about.

So I dragged out two complete posts from here, plus an extract from a third, and fired them off. One of the two had come second in a challenge. The other had been well received by the likes of Chris.

And what did I get from this . . .this . . .this . . .?

“Unreadable convoluted rubbish” they said. To both complete stories. The precise phraseology was somewhat longer, but in essence that's what it meant. I don’t know how the extract fared as I put a block on the email address before it came back.

No wonder lin and this person never got on.

(and after all that, my question wasn't answered either)

Haha. Let me try to think for a minute or two on that.

Am I supposed to know who you are referring to?

...I'm an abba fan.

I guess Harry.

The only one I know is Take A Chance, so I scrolled through some of their song names and that's the only one that jumped out.
It frightens me if you actually referenced that relatively obscure ABBA song.

There's a very simple reason behind everything...

including intense dislike.

Maybe you're not talking about who I'm thinking of.

In any case, the person who I intensely dislike starts with an "m" and ends with an "aia."

Without commenting on whether certain persons attract your displeasure or not, I fail entirely to see how your original remark has anything whatsoever to do with the original post. In fact, to be blunt, it has sfa to do with it. Your intense dislike of a person explains the original post? Excuse me?

And anyway, shouldn't moderators display impartiality in public?
