Why did I even wake up?

Okay, I understand that's its only been a couple of days since I last posted here, but I had the wierdest dream last night. I mean, for one, I never have dreams. The last time I had a dream was back when I was 11 or 12, and funnily enough I can still remember vital parts of it. I have a strange feeling that I won't forget this one either.

I'd like to go into detail and share this with you, but 1) It's personal, real personal and 2) I have only a fair amount of detail anyway. I just thought I'd say how...rememberable it was but most of all how real it felt. I want it to be true so much. I felt so good, so amazing.

It's made my mind up, maybe if I change, I'll get that feeling.

Tom.

That is weird how all the sudden you'll remember a dream after not dreaming for years. Or do we always dream and just not remember? Don't get too caught up in analyzing your dreams, though, or thinking that they hold an answer to a problem outside your control.

Have a good morning. I'm going to bed.

Apparently we dream every night - that's what REM triggers in our brains. The fact that you remember dreams means you were light sleeping and not in a deep sleep as many people believe - that's the science bit

Isn't it depressing when your having a really good dream and then you wake up?

I believe dreams represent our subconscious - not necessarily wants and desires, but they bring to the surface stuff that has been lingering on the back-burner

I totally agree Lilac, they definitly bring up feelings you thought you'd forgotten.

And Seven, you'd find it lame, but I wouldn't, so it doesn't matter.

And yeah Lilac, it's sooo depressing

I had a weird dream last night. i dream I was on death row for some reason, about to be executed. I was also waiting for an answer from the president to hear if I could be released back into prison, so I was waiting impatiently for whatever would come first. Would I have time to be released before I was killed? When the letter (not a phone call, strangely) came, it turned out I was not released, so my execution would go as planned. At that moment I really felt what it was like to know you are about to die. I don't mean just in the dream, but even now (past midnight the next day) I still feel the hopelessness of knowing you are about to die and there isn't anything anyone can do about it.

I am almost always in control in my dreams.

I do wake up all disappointed from dreams I wish would last forever, but I DO have continuous amazing dreams. Those are fun. Have the wonderful story night after night? Hecks yeah.

Once I dreamed that the kool-aid guy was in my pantry with Michel Jackson gloves on. He was stealing my boots one pair at a time. I went in and he said he was my worst nightmare, then proceeded to pick me up and drown me in his red liquid.

No lie.

Sorry, Tom. It's hateful when that happens.

People have often told me that they thought their dreams were actually real life. I ask you this. Have you ever woke up and still thought you were dreaming? Now that's disturbing.

Yeah but sometimes, you wish that you were dreaming in real life.

i remember when i had the worlds worst nightmare, zombies the lot. I saw all my family killed and turned infront of my eyes, my dad was killing all of my family to protect me and then the zombies killed him. I was proper crying and screaming and i kept saying its only a dream - but didn't wake up for what felt like an eternity. (i was like 10)
