Right now I'm running 101.4

Any suggestions?

Take an advil; they actually do reduce fevers.

Any other symptoms (if you feel like sharing)? Doing anything different before you noticed the fever?

No, this sounds weird. I know it's not food poisoning, but I ate at cicis and then got a fever. I don't know if eating food can cause a fever without stomach illness. I'm ridiculously dizzy though. I can barely walk across the room.

I tried going to sleep early. It didn't work. I'm going to try again.

Maybe your body is still freaking out about the low, low prices and delicious, endless buffet at CiCi's pizza.

What's it going for these days? When I lived in Albuquerque it was 2.99, all you can eat.

lisajane is an unknown quantity at this point
Go see a doctor and find if there's an underlying cause.

Other than that, sleep, rest, and drink lots of fluids.

Don't do what I did when I had a 43 degree/109 fever - I went to work and wondered what the hell was wrong with the air con/heater... I did go to a doctor though who took my temperature twice and said I shouldn't be awake and standing.

109? Bullshit. I really hope that's bullshit. Your brain and internal organs would literally be cooking. Most people that have a sustained fever over 103 end up with brain damage.

Agreed. 104 or 105 degrees farenheit is deadly. 109/43 is ridiculous. Maybe, just maybe you got up to 104/40. I doubt that too.

Your brain fries at 104 or so, I think.

Are you better AA? I hope so.

I love Cicis, BTW. It's really the only place a family of four can eat and not break the bank. Food's not half bad. Salads pretty good.

Reminds me of an all you can eat place we used to eat at in college. We'd put plastic bags in our backpacks and fill them with pizza.

We don't have Cicis yet, only commercials (guess they're coming soon).

With the dizziness it sounds like a sinus issue to me. Take some Advil (Ibuprofen of any kind) and put a warm compress over your eyes/head.

Actually 101.4 isn't a major deal. 104 is bad but I've been that high or more (104.5 or so) and my brain hasn't fried yet. Although I don't recommend it for long periods of time. When it's up that high, take the Advil and get in a tepid bath.

109? Not a chance. You'd be dead or seriously close to it. 103 is the highest you can let it go without seeking immediate medical attention. 104 upward and you start to convulse, with the added, and very likely, possibility of brain damage. 109 and you would need to be put into an ice-bath before your organs literally melted.
