Some days just work

Nothing ground-breaking, but d'you ever have those days where everything just kind of rolls in the right direction?

I'm finally getting to the heart of this novel I'm writing, so will be able to redraft properly at last. I've gotten laundry dry, by dodging the rain showers. My SO has come home chillaxed to the max and is watching the good Blade Runner cut in the next room. One of the offspring is playing REM on the accoustic, on the stairs. Dinner's made already - Left-overs and maltesers. And my most recent Amazon order is due tomorrow...

Nina Simone is singing 'Suzanne' on my ipod and I'm going to take her out into the garden to look at the birds ravaging the cherry tree and crapping on the patio.

*mellow sigh*

I love a woman who's content with the simple, wonderful pleasures of life!

(I've got one, ya see.)

That sounds good. You need to be an inside clothes dryer, though.

Yes. I'll be right there. What part of the world are you in again?

Shitzville UK currently...but, if you stick your fingers in your ears and squint, it's nice enough...if you ignore the shopping trolleys trying to swim in the river and the harsh rasping of northern ducks....

only 16 days til I move...then it'll be beach parties instead... with brownies and veggie chilli...email yourselves over as attachments...I bet you're all prettier than my real friends...I might not tell them where I live!
