This is where we write the story
The room she was in was small but at least it was her own. There was a bed in it with semi clean sheets and a small table. Nothing else. The window looked out over the central court yard of the camp. For the most part of the day she watched the routine of the camp. Like ants people crawled over the grounds. Angelica tried to focus and recognize some of the faces but she was in to much pain and tired easily. Angelica looked up as one of the nurses walked in. 'He, Angel. I've brought you something to eat'. Angelica looked at Amy and smiled 'I will eat it later, could you please leave it on the table'. Amy looked stricktly into Angelica's eyes 'Sure, but don't give it away again. You need to get your strength back'. 'Yeah, yeah, I will' Angelica said and looked out the window again. Get my strength back, for what? To go out there and be worked to death like the rest of them? Or if that didn't happen to be sentenced to death at some point? Amy told Angelica to get some rest and walked out of the room.
Arie gritted his teeth as the 'doctor' rubbed his broken leg. If it hadnt of hurt so much, he would have noticed that the room that he was in was full of patients staring at him and his antics. "Its not broken, your knee is just out of place." the doctor told him with his nasally pompous voice. "To hell it is! Where'd you go to school? A dark closet?" The doctor glared for a minute and grabbed his leg and just played around with the kneecap for a bit before ripping it back into place. The hospital echoed with Aries screams as he desperately searched for something to hold onto. His hand found the metal pole that held the bag of blood that was slowly dripping into his system . He lifted it as high as he could, and then grabbing with both hands brought it down on the doctors head while he was still looking down smiling at the now corrected knee. He collapsed to the ground, but was up a second later, blood starting to seep into his hair. He was angry. Probably shouldnt have done that... Five minutes later Arie was transported unconsciously to a new room where he would be more secluded. If the hospital had been less full, or a bit bigger, they would have put him in his own room to keep him away from any other people. But instead he was sent to a room with a girl only a bit younger than him.
Angelica looked up at the unconcious newcomer and the doctor with the bleeding head that took him in. Oh this one was going to be trouble. 'Anything I need to know about?' she asked the doctor. 'I am sorry we have to put him in here with you, but its the only room with just one patient in it and he can't be around the others'. Oh great, this one was defenately going to be trouble. Angelica choose to ignore him and stared back into the central court yard again.
The light began to seep in through his eyelids as he regained consciousness. His head felt like he was getting hit over and over with a 2x4. He looked around at the sterile white room and remembered where he was. A concentration camp. Great. Just great. Welcome to hell, he thought to himself. His eye caught a young girl laying on the bed next to him, she was in bad shape but still pretty from what he could see. "I dont suppose you could tell me where the exit is?" he asked with a slightly sarcastic tone.
Angelica looked up suprised that the stranger was awake again 'finding the exit is not so hard. Getting on the other side of it is'. She smiled, he looked a lot more friendly now that he was concious.
He smiled. He liked this girl, nice sense of humor in the face of certain death. Plus, he was still a bit woozy and confused, and didnt want to put up the effort to be his usual jack-ass self. "How'd you land yourself here?"
Angelica hesitated, she wasn't that eager to tell. She had made hiding information her second nature. She answered but avoided the question at the same time. 'Like everyone else I got arrested, I am asuming you did too'. She looked at the bread on her table ' Do you want sometime to eat? My stumach can't handle it'.
He was still too out of it to realize she was avoiding the question, and the sight of the bread made his stomach rumble. he was starving. He reached out and grabbed a piece of bread and shoved it into his mouth. He had eaten worse, but he had also eaten much better.
Angelica smiled 'I guess your hungry'. She hesitated for a moment as she felt a sharp sting in her chest from where her ribs were broken and then said 'My name is Angelica, but people call me Angel'.
