Identical Differences

A fairly old piece that I found cleaning out my desk. I think I was pretty upset. Not sure what it was meant to be other than words on paper, me venting.

Limited faith is destructive
If you don't believe in something completely
Then what's the fuckin' point?
To be doubted is to be untrusted
To be lied to is to be decieved
Nothing is what I thought it was
The past year was a great falsity
Filled with artificial feelings
And empty words you didn't mean

Just another phase in our distinct cycle
Love
Hate
Separation
Reconciliation
REPEAT

But this destructive cylce has come to a final end
Do note that this isn't a break
And I won't call you in 2 months with birthday wishes
I doubt your tears will extinguish the candles
There will be no great reunion
Where we laugh and cry over cocktails
No more games at the gate
We'll never laugh at that frog again

Just because I've had enough
Doesn't mean I don't love you
That will never change
But I can't forget this

We have too many stories together
To ever be forgotten
Too much hurt to ever be forgiven
To much anger to ever be nice
Identical differences
That can't be set aside

Hmm. Come to think of it, many of us use writing for venting. Which is healthy in itself, I suppose. And I suppose it suffices in the absence of an interested ear, which seems to be in great demand.

Hmm. Given that it's in demand, and there are few suppliers, maybe we have a new market to explore.

Er- Or maybe that's what shrinks are. I guess that's why we like to limit it to writing. Hmm...
