I wrote this one night after not sleeping for over three days. Why I wrote it I don't really know.

Few people notice how silent one person can truly be. Even one who speaks and interacts with others can be considered silent. The daily life does not require any real talent any more. You do not have to have a valid opinion about much of anything, and if you do have one, do you voice it? Or do you remain silent, mindlessly follow the system that has been placed before you that is not intended for advancements but sustaining the system that is forced upon you. There are an uncountable number of ways to live, to look at life, and to function among others and yet the few that do voice their true opinions are often speaking not with a truly open mind but one that it is working to sustain the system we call life. There are many things to question about everything we have managed to hold in the highest regard. Ideas such as success are based around what the current world expects from us. Success could mean that you are selfless and help everyone around you but instead of thinking like that, or anything near that success translates to profit. The idea of gain over our neighbors and their neighbors. The idea of simply surviving and living has been long forgotten and replaced with a much more complicated world. We are very far from considering the real consequences of this complication that we as a society do just about everything to sustain, while in the end we are merely complicating our lives further. The stresses that we must deal with are absurd and caused purely by the fact that society has managed to wander from our bare essentials that we need to live as a modern society. Why we as part of this warped world view things in the utmost calculated manner when it comes to the present but fail to look fully to the future is bewildering. We have no reason to have the economic struggle that every single being faces daily. That is a result of the need to feel guided by something, currently the countries we have established and the customs that have been formed over time as a result. Our reality is formed by our past, and we form the reality of the future, and yet the real decisions of our country, our decisions of our past now controling our future, has placed us in a drone like state. The choices that decide what is important, what can and cannot be done, and our overall reality of the future has been placed in the hands of a select group of individuals. These individuals have authority because of a title, a title that we allowed to be formed and power that we handed over to them. These individuals are our presidents, our mayors, our governors, and the rest of the judicial system. On what basis did we decide to hand over our power of deciding our future one may ask? Merely words and phrases that we have placed value in due to the decisions of our past generations forming our current reality, our current morals, our current lives. One may argue that we have free will and that if one does feel the need to have direct power they should attempt to have a place in our government. That solves nothing. One has their own opinions, they will reason using those opinions, at what point does one stop trying to decide things for everyone that resides in the country that they now have direct say in and actually give real voice to each individual for most have remained truly silent their entire life. The idea of this is immediately dismissed by most individuals as impossible, and that a leader is a must and without one there would be constant killing and crime and chaos. These individuals are thinking about the present only, within the small box of ideas and possibilities they view as reality. There were many points in history were able to roam free among one another, in small groups that could be as small as immediate families or as large as an entire extended family. This sort of living could have gone on for the remainder of time humans walk this earth. Some may claim we have advanced and we are better of as a society now. What they base this off of is unknown. We as people have added to our problems and worries and so called needs and will continue to do so until our reality crumbles down before us and we are forced to change. The real answer of how should we live our lives lies within the question of are we really any better off from our so called advancements or have we simply caused our own demise.
