red lantern is on a distinguished road
The blur:a short rant of sorts

When your vision blurs, when you see everything in double, when words mix on your screen into a long jumble is it you blurring or is the world around you moving and leaving you behind. Is it changing and betraying the truths it told you this morning before breakfast, blaring it at you over your toast and muesli. Has someone somewhere up there hit the fast forward button while you weren’t looking, while you ducked out for lunch or while you were in the restroom it all has gone to heck and come back jumble. Someone, some peon somewhere has done this just for fun and you know it but cannot find their e-mail address in your contact list.

You come out and do not even recognise they room you left, something you cannot see or touch is now different. You can smell it, there is a fresh smell where there used to be only the staleness of the mid day drudgery. You are tempted to walk out the door and leave the crap all behind get on first train that comes to the platform and ride as far as you can. You go to your computer screen and the screen is blurring, then all is still.

The phone rings, you pick it up and no one is there?
