The advice is just to ignore it. Be yourself, live your life, and don't worry about what people think of you, except to some degree for those closest to you - and I suspect they love you just as you are.

It's a fact of life that someone, somewhere won't like you for reasons that shouldn't matter. It happens to all of us. We can't afford to worry about it.

I had people make fun of me too, I even got kicked out of my group of friends at high school because I spent too much time sitting alone and writing! I know it's really hard but once you get into the habit of looking at yourself in the mirror and realising how cool you are what other people do and say doesn't really matter. It'll be like water off a ducks back.

How can it be possible you're so thin-skinned you'd try something as desperate as, say, this?

Just realize either one of two things:

1. The people making fun of you are basically making up for their own insecurities by disguising it with one who can represent it: you.

OR, if you're more of an angry person:

2. How stupid and moronic and pathetic the people are that make fun of you because they have nothing better to with their lives than make other people feel bad about themselves.

Or, change names, leave the state, become a hermit, and throw doody at people. I dunno.

I think the "insecurities" answer is just a way to make people feel better about being made fun of without taking accountability for what you are doing to allow yourself to be made fun of (Not tryin to shoot you down, deagon, just based off personal experience).

I am short, too, and I used to be made fun of it all the time, among many other things. Truth is, everyone has shortcomings that they can be made fun of for, I've known short people and jewish people (and probably short jewish people) that didn't have issues about it. I have also known a lot of average-sized people that arent jewish that get made fun of.

In my opinion, it's all about confidence. When i was made fun of when i was younger, it was because I didn't stand up for myself, and anyone could see it right away. It's not just about saying "Hey, shut the hell up," because anyone can say that. But without confidence, it can come across as meek or whiney, which doesn't help the situation at all.

After years of being ridiculed for being short, skinny, and pastey white, I decided that I couldn't let myself be defined as that. Once I started reckognizing the better qualities in myself, I started realizing that I had no reason to let jokes get to me. Guys usually use insults to relate to eachother and have fun. When you take it personally, people can sense it, and sometimes jump on it to get the reaction.

There's no quick fix, but you just gotta work on the confidence dude. You're never going to get to a point that you won't be made fun of, it happens. You're always gonna be short and jewish (well, there is actually a surgery to fix being short, and maybe one for being jewish, but im pretty sure they're long and painful lol). It's just how YOU react that makes the difference.
