This is only one of my failures

That... was the advice given to me by my mother and father just before I left to my new school. What kind of advice is that? I was 5 years old when that happened but now, it’s all changed. I’m in control of my life now I’m 16 and there’s nothing they can do about it! I can leave home now, if they get to bossy! Go to Jeff’s house. Yeh. His mum is really nice and when I sneak to his house after school she gives us ice-cream!

Yeh Mrs. Hilton is really nice. Or maybe I’ll rent a place of my own. That sounds better, I’m sure Mrs. Hilton will support me; she knows me and Jeff aren’t meant to be friends but she doesn’t care.
My parents entered the room as I was deep in thought, they scared me in a way which is not possible for bullies to do.
They scare me like a fox would frighten a chicken. It seems they feel as if they are god. Or two of them anyway.
But is there a god? Is there? Because I haven’t been taught to know a god not with Christianity or Buddhism. My parents seem to be incapable of finding a religion that suits them. Not that I can argue but if it were me I would go with just being me, not some person who does whatever someone says. Mind you… I do it anyway. Because I’m scared.

Anyway as I was saying my parents came in when I was thinking, my door squeaks, it always has dad made it squeak so he could hear if I was leaving my room at night…creepy huh? Especially when you’ve snuck out to pee and when you come back your dad is standing behind the door waiting for you to explain where you’ve been. Trust me it’s worse when mums there too, oh its so embarrassing.

Whoops I’m not very good at this keeping on track thing am I? ha ha All the teachers say that, they…whoops ok I’m going to really try now.
I was deep in thought when my parents came in, they saw my homework diary on the floor and had a quick look then said
“Homework huh? If you have it why aren’t you DOING it?”
I began to argue then I gave up, there was know use in it! They wouldn’t give up, they are use to me giving up… well next time. I’ll get them!

After that little ‘conversation’ I was sent to the study room to complete my math homework. Why get homework? If we get sent to school to learn shouldn’t we do our learning there not at home where we are supposed to do fun things?

Oops ranting again, I’m going to make a rant book!

Rant 1:religion
Is there a god? Is there? Because I haven’t been taught to believe in a god, not with Christianity or Buddhism. My parents seem to be incapable of finding a religion that suits them. Not that I can argue but if it were me I would go with just being me, not some person who does whatever someone says.

Rant 2: School
If we do all our ‘home’work at school does that mean it’s home work or school work because it’s NAMED homework but it’s done at school ergo it is school work
So by what I’ve just ranted on about Home work cant really be home work unless you do it at home because you COULD do it at school making it, School work.

Better not let Parents see this book or…else.

Ky ran, His uncle called him back, but that wouldn’t stop him nothing could, not after what he just saw.

His uncle was dead, he died 2 years ago, in fact Ky was at his funeral and saw the body go down. His uncle was a ghost, a real dead… demon ghost. Ky couldn’t think of anything he had done to deserve this, or so he told me.

“Yeh right!” Mac’s friends scorned “where is this Wonderful Ky and this Magical demon Uncle, Yeh how ‘bout you introduce us ey?”
“You know I can’t!” Mac explained “he lives in Neu Las remember?” Jake, Cam, James and Ethan shook their heads in disbelief, No Mac, Ky is just a story.

“C’MON KY, HURRY!” someone called.
“alright alright I’m coming, what’s so importan-oh” Ky muttered to himself as he walked towards the voice, There, standing knee deep in mud, was his best friend, Sally Nez.
“Geez Nez, what have you done now?”

“he is real” Mac insisted “he’s my friend from Neu Las why don’t you believe me?”
“because”, Jax told him, “we’ve never seen him before and you’re a story teller, that’s what you do, tell stories, tall tales, fiction”
