Ansgar vs. Wyrmthing (A paragraph of fantasy-genre Anglish torment)

According to wiki, "Anglish is a form of constrained writing in which Greek, Latin, and Romance roots are replaced with Germanic ones." Words that may have been derived from just about any language can be used as well. So, I challenged myself to write a paragraph in Anglish, and fantasy seemed to be a good genre for it. Actually, this may not be as bad as the title sounds. I'll let you guys decide.

Ansgar saw something afar. It was a great Wingbeast, with sharp claws and teeth and a snakelike body. Nearer he could find that it was a Wyrmthing, and a deadly one. He crept behind the Stonestuff along the Land, making sure to make no sound and however little movement could handle. He did not wish to disturb this Wingbeast. They looked awesome, but their patience had bounds. The Wyrmthing’s nose caught Ansgar’s stinkness. With no other clear choice before him but to be eaten, he began to run.
