This probably only qualifies as a rant

I think this was meant as a response paper for my Philosophy class on Hegel:

Okay for one since the start of democracy, societies have learned how to control the fluctuations of nature more and more. That is, the natural ascension and recession of society has been balanced as much as possible to avoid massive conflicts. When the party in power begins to decline and another party begins to rise, the nation merely switches sides before the collision so the two in a sense pass each other on different planes, thus avoiding conflict. The ascending party progresses to the next developing plane while the descending party remains on the old one. Okay so that out of the way, what is the result? We as humans are constantly trying to push as far as we can. Away from what? Our roots, our origins, the primal earth if you will. So in a sense a larger gravity exists not only in a mere physical sense but in a universal sense that is determined to pull us back to the source without compromise. The source in this illustration is the center of the parabola, the point at which the positive and negatives collide but then instantly push back away again. To us, looking from a human perspective, this is destruction – chaos, death. But death is understandably the lack of life, the lack of deviation from what simply is and is not trying to be. At the core of this conflict, in its very essence is an encapsulation of the moment. Like 9/11, and I’m getting to that, but everyone in America it seems can remember stopping at the moment they heard or saw the news and just stopping. A pure saturation of absolute present tense. Then thoughts began to occur of why someone would do this (past) and what was going to happen to us (future) and that perfect moment was gone. It’s actually, looking from a universal standpoint, quite a beautiful moment. We as individuals will have moments like this that occur in our personal oscillating interests. An orgasm, for example, will clear the mind completely for a matter of seconds. But that is only an exclusively personal level. It is extremely difficult to get just two people to have synchronized orgasms and exist in that bliss together for a few seconds, and the more the numbers increase the greater the difficulty level.
So what is the assumption of this realization? That the greater the number of individuals effectively affected the greater the amount of work or coordination put into the action or event. So e(energy)x=a (affected group), x being actual event. That’s enough for now, I might work on that equation later if I find it relevant but math isn’t exactly the focus of my thoughts here. Math is numbers and letters and symbols, magicians think that every complex mystery is explained rationally and mathematically, but the only base element of the life-giving process (magically speaking) that it lacks is sound. Perhaps that is a way to look at the layers of universal truth, sound being the physical fruition, or a representation thereof. THAT right there is just me ranting, let me get back to my original point. I don’t want to know about math, I’m interested in human things – love and fear and death and history and science and art and how all of these things can somehow can come back to one single point. Or more precisely, if they can. So what does Hegel tell me about life now? We have found a way to cheat the universal fluctuation of positive and negative, the DNA strand symbol. How does this change the universal order? We can’t actually change or stop a universal law or truth, in that case at the first loophole we would have found our perfected universe and that would be that. The beauty of our world, our universe is that it is complex and adaptable, like Ender’s Game, if we find one way to get an advantage, something new arises from nature to balance that advantage out. We will never win life.
What does that tell us? That democracy isn’t the absolute answer to governing massive amounts of people. It is the most effective answer as of now, but the nature of man is to progress, and we will progress, it’s only a matter of time. What is important for us is to assess our situation so we might have a clue what direction to head so the future does not hit us blind. This is a paradox because the inevitable change or conflict will arise from the person who finally understands where we need to progress from, thus the answer creates the problem, knowing the problem will be there no matter what. That is the American solution, this world of mock globalism we live in. Whoever came up with the last answer decided that (and this is probably being a lot more severe than it should be) if we all get along and don’t get into any unnecessary conflict it will naturally create the perfect world. Everyone is always seeking the perfect world. This is no new idea, think Utopia, Communist Manifesto, etc… If we all just accept we have differences and choose to live in harmony despite that, nothing could possibly go wrong – right? Well here is the slight problem with that idea. Just slight. That description is one of universal consciousness, everyone at an equal level of intelligence and spirituality – a perfect balance of literally everything, then it is agreed by most scholars, collectively we – humans, the world, the universe, whatever – are one with god, thus we are god. But it requires an equal effort on all parts, universal balance. Thus, it will not work if one group forces the rest to comply with their dream of utopia. This is not the balance we’re seeking. Whatever ruling group is leading this current charge for the loophole into utopia must firmly believe in the "for the greater good" principle. But they are mistaken. For the greater good is not a cheat code to perfection, it is merely a tool to help propel the evolution of mankind. Now they must accept that it failed and in accordance to the universal law of fluctuation, the flaws of the failed system must be discarded and a new system must arise – focused by these problems on the next logical step towards universal actualization.
When a new system rises after the conflict, a time of peace follows in which humanity reflects and discovers through trial and experience if indeed this is the utopia of dreams. The positive indications of such are discovered as indeed being positive and are thus implemented as the pillars of the state, taken advantage of to the point of being exploited. Thus a system reaches its crest or climax. If this indeed is the perfect system then no flaws will be found great enough on the negative side of this to hinder the rise, and theoretically at that point we float off to be one with god. If the flaws are great enough to prove that the system is not, in fact, everything it was desired to be, then a new wave begins from this discovery and begins its ascension. It is at this point then that the climax of the old wave begins its descent. As I stated before the democratic system has adapted to this by incorporating the new wave into the old one without feeling the full impact of the conflict. In a word, elections. But there is no real conflict or change, just a few minor adjustments drawn onto the face of America to appease those who normally would be the rebelling faction. At least, enough so that those who might have rebelled are left stranded, those around them patting each other on the back and claiming a victory, when the taste of victory is merely an illusion. But the illusion grows thinner and by natural laws alone the tension of this resistance of conflict grows. The result is the realization that the force applied must be much stronger than that which naturally would be used to continue the cycle – America has in a sense built a shield to defend itself. But nature has provided a solution for that, namely increasingly destructive amplified weapons. Americans are under the illusion that the only thing saving the world from nuclear warfare and chaos is us, gallantly holding our shield. I suggest that perhaps the opposite is true, without this shield nothing so devastating as a nuclear war would be required to let nature continue its course. The natural evolution of everything is forward, history exposes this to us, but the United States is effectively damming the river, trying to extend its day in the sun as long as it possibly can, and so, naturally, the water is building up behind us – trying to knock us over and continue its flow.
So, continuing on my previous point, that the United States is declining and has been declining for quite some time (The Great Depression) this theory is hollow without some concept of the problems or flaws of the nation and suggested solutions – steps to take toward our progressive evolution. The discussion of problems is easy enough. The United States is in a lot of debt, there hasn’t been in a surplus in decades Part of this is we are fighting too many wars on phantasms, and these ghosts are all eating our money. For example, the war on drugs. Not only is the government throwing millions of dollars into the war against drug trafficking, cartels and the like – money that just sits in paranoid piles on our borders, but this war is completely ineffectual – drugs are still coming in by the truckload, so MORE money is being thrown out of the country by American drug dealers buying from foreigners, money that could be put back into our own economy, indirectly finding its way back to the government, if only drugs were legalized and marketed. But that will never happen. Not to mention the thousands of dollars thrown into Anti-Drug Campaigns that also seem to be quite ineffectual.
This of course isn’t the only problem our nation has. War on Terrorism is also pulling a pretty penny out of the negative wallet, not to mention it’s dividing the country quite nicely right down the middle. Our soldiers are sitting out in the Middle East, our last Ally has withdrawn, those Nationalists we recruited for the cause of freedom are either turn coating or proving unable to save their own asses against the much stronger fanatical groups…and for some goddamn reason we won’t just leave them alone. Of course now it’s much too late to fully remedy the damage we caused, but at least just leave before the entire world hates us, if they don’t already. The money alone that is being spent on this pointless war is astonishing. I will be amazed if any of us get tax breaks this year, thanks to our awesome war.
But these are not root problems, these are effects, manifestations of the invisible roots. To eliminate these external effects we can’t just focus on them we have to eradicate the deeper issues that brew these troubles, else similar issues will keep appearing, growing in intensity.
