I find it interesting...
I find it interesting that the general response to this File 13 section is to ask everyone else, "is it worth writing?"
Personally, I think this question is conflicting because in my mind, every piece of writing is inherently "worth it." The amount of time, energy and effort put into said piece may vary, but writing is always worth it. Besides, it's important to get those 100,000 pages of drivel out of the way, so as to pursue the true embodiment of your own individual writer's spirit. Whether or not you receive one response or 50, every piece posted and shared sends a ripple into the world.
No piece of writing ever left the world unaffected.
Anyways, just thought I'd offer these words of encouragement to those who sincerely wonder if any of their pieces are "worth it" because in my mind, the only writing that isn't worth it, is writing the writer gives up on.
Don't give up and keep writing!
