Art of Interpretation

The Art Of Interpretation

Waiting for the lead to drop
To leave it’s mark; an impression
And as it falls with all intensity
It leaves this:
I am searching for what is true, and for what is perfect
But what I found isn’t true; and it’s far perfect.
For my thoughts remain before the margins edge
A thin red line dividing:
Emotion from Definition
Thought from Voice
Fiction from Reality
Resulting in:
The Art of Interpretation.

I was totally bored and was staring at the margin in my notebook. I don't know what to do with it.

bruisedelbows is an unknown quantity at this point
I don't find anything wrong with it. Poems are supposed to be odd, different, in some weird tone you didn't feel was right but somehow is at the same time. Most writing's like that. I suggest leaving it alone for a week or so and then reading it again. Still wanna change it? Then go right ahead. But always keep a copy of the original!

But I still find it perfectly fine.
