Thrum=a "sort of" poem
And so my thrum is lost to the wastes,
never to be seen again.
My poor thrum, a raving of my straying mind,
yet it was weel thought of by the penguin
and I enjoyed it for its plainess.
Let my thrum be sung in the ravages of time
and the inanity of computers.
----------------------------------------
just something random out of my archives; I thought it was rather funny.

Sorry to bump this, I've just revised it a tad and renamed it.
Any thoughts?

I think anything that references 'the penguin' goes straight into my good books.

I think it's perfectly fine, except that you have "my thrum" three times. Too much, in my opinion.
Also, I don't like the second line.

The critics rave:
"Three thumbs up!" - Ebert
"Top ten!" - Letterman
"I left the theatre thrumming." - NY Times

Reminded me of Dr. Seuss until I looked up thrum to see if it was an actual word.

well, actually, danae(BTW where's the shower of gold--sorry couldn't resist) I wrote this without even knowing what thrum meant; it just felt like a strumming type of word.
