the other realm
I’m looking head.
There’s a defeated limpness of the eucalyptus behind me.
Swaying.
Beckoning.
I stand here for a reason, but all reasons are veiled by uncertainty, at least for now.
I’m in a glass sphere, there are people outside. I see their flesh spread on the walls of the structure as they press their palms against it.
This is a realm with no sun and no moon, but there is thunder. Every time the lighting strikes I see a swarm of faces from beyond my transparent confines.
Amid these I see a face only too recognizable. It is my own.
The light flickers with a roar and I see myself speak, the uttering however falls unheard.
Rebounded by the glass, repressed by the thunder.
Yet, the imagery of the movement of my lips tells me what I said;
‘There’s no way out'

In the form of wisdom
carved on a black stone
The only way to follow
Open your soul
Redeem, I am immortal
