Female Connections To The Earth
I was playing around with this free verse. I connect females to the earth, thus the title. The title sucks though and I'm not quite sure where to take this or leave it be.....
Venus embraces her daughters and sends them to Mother Earth.
Moon paints their way in a iridescent glow of immortality
Emerald forests; virgins the winds of purity
Amber liquid forms pools of earth’s blood snagging flesh along the way
Mushrooms and black powdered granules call to their pheromones, beckoning in its nature
Blanketed moss sponges gentle steps and carpets their sensuality in a soft cry of remembrance
Passing of rain resonates their sighs of quivering delight in its womb.
Well that's all I got. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
