The beginning of a film...

Ok- I wrote this a while ago, and almost threw it out in a fit of frustration- but strangely decided to keep it, I’ve never tried anything like this, so it’s pretty awful, but I figure I’ll post it anyhow- it hasn’t been properly punctuated, or spell checked. So bear with me…

(Camera is zoomed in on a wooden door as you hear high notes being played on a piano almost eerily)

(Camera slowly adjusts to a small girl in an old fashion dress playing the piano looking as though she’s in some sort of trance, eyes straight ahead, face white as snow, the room is also very eerie, all the furniture covered in sheets, everything has a abandoned haunted look to it)

(You hear ambulances in the background as the girl starts to play louder on the piano and misses a few notes, still staring straight ahead)

(The camera is shifted to another room where you see doctors running upstairs, some coming down carrying a covered body on a stretcher with some blood soaking through in a few places)

(The girl slowly walks out of the room and holds onto the door frame where the body has been brought down, a solitary tear runs down her right cheek)

Little girl [says to doctor]: W...where are you going?

Doctor: Never mind. Go to the other room, I don’t need you getting in the way.

Little girl: But... my moth- (she gets cut off)

Doctor: (yells to someone else) get this little girl out of my sight I don’t need any distractions.

(Man comes over and shuffles little girl to other room the closes the door behind him as he leaves)

(Girl looks at the now closed door another tear rolls down her cheek as she makes her way over to the corner and hugs her knees and begins to sob, sitting behind a thin white curtain)

(You see her look up at the sky and whisper whilst sobbing “please… “ More sobbing)

(The little girl lifts up her head as the voices of the doctors fade away, she stands up and walks quietly over to the window facing her “driveway” and draws the curtain, seeing there are no cars outside she opens the door and peeks out to find that she is alone, she slowly walks up stairs gripping onto the railing and makes her way into “her room” you watch her start to cry again as she looks into the room across the hall that is now empty, she gets a little bag and starts to shove articles of clothing and other small objects inside the camera goes black as you hear her scream…)
