Tales from the Brothers Grim

Cold was the day and snowy and dark,
the girl was dreaming inside the car,
decided on a walk through the park,
the path was clean and not very far.

The bridge that spanned a sluggish creek,
was small and the bricks were red,
ugly urine stains from a wino`s leak,
the trees were leafless and seemed dead.

As she put the foot upon the stone,
she heard a voice whisper „Kiss me“
and she had thought, she was alone
and the voice whispered „look down and see“.

A frog as big as two men`s fists,
sat nearly frozen in a hollow,
in his eyes swirled silver mists
his skin was dark and sallow.

The girl thought back to younger days
And bent towards the ground,
a swift kiss and the frog did arise,
and the clouds went black with a roaring sound.

The frog was now horned and with cloven feet,
the silver in his hand a big knife,
Bless you Sweetheart merry meet“
he raped her and made her the cleaver`s wife.

As the last of her blood dripped onto the stone,
he laughed and said „Boy what a mess“
now it is quiet again, i feel so alone,
let`s wait for the next pretty little lass.

So Girls dont believe in fairy tales
of sad sad frogs and kissing
and dont believe in snake-oil sales
lest you end up dead and missing

Kimberly Bird is an unknown quantity at this point
Well, that was harsh at the end. I'll make sure I don't kiss any frogs in the future.
