I didn't even expect a small audience when I started writing this, let alone a big. Keep posting and I'll keep writing.
Reading horror is kinda like watching the aftermath of a car accident. You don't know if you're quite ready for what you are going to come accross, but you have to look.

The idea of writing a novel/story from the first-person perspective of a killer is so closely associated with The Killer Inside Me it would be like undertaking to write a third-person omniscient narrative about hobbits.

The Killer Inside Me - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

How do plan on distinguishing your work from that well-known existing book?

Well... for starters I've never read it. So i don't have to sit and think " How can I make Red Romantic different than The Killer Inside Me?"

My writing comes from one place only... my imagination. I don't plan, and I don't brainstorm. And I don't take other people's ideas. I just sit down at a computer and start writing.

How do I plan on distinguishing my work from that supposedly well-known book?

I don't. I don't plan at all. I apply my fingers to a keyboard and type until something comes out. It's instinctive, for me.

But my work tends to distinguish itself, more often than not. So keep reading (when I put more up, of course.), and decide that for yourself.
