Unnamed trilogy

Hi guys, this is a trilogy I've been working on for quite some time and here are some teasers... sort of. It's not meant to give much away, it's very brief but... too cheesy? dramatic? let me know!

1) Defeat at Dawn
They are children of Mother Nature, loving siblings and some of the most powerful beings in the universe. Guarding them are three keepers of the highest order. Waiting to meet them is the Triad. Watching them is the darkest prince of all.
Hunting them all is the Force.
They have been told there is no escaping death. But together they are a power to be reckoned with for the alternative… is eternity in oblivion.

2) Weeping Mist
Three thousand years have passed. The world has changed. They are nothing but legend. A subject to be scorned at by those who would have trembled at their name if they’d ever believed in them. To others, they are a story to please the listeners and boost the morale of the down trodden in these dark times. Society as it was has ceased to exist. Class, power and magic now pollute the air. Evil has ascended.
No more. The time is drawing near. He is approaching. She knows. The scorners will quake in fear. The oppressed will be defended.
The forgotten will arise.

3) The Last Shadow
The truth has been the lie. As everything unravels, obstacles appear. Answers have spawned questions.
The impossible now must be confronted. The unthinkable now must be done. The Force has arrived.

The Last Shadow has descended.

There's nothing wrong with these ideas but there isn't really enough information here to provide you with a useful commentary, IMO. Is some of it intriguing? Sure. On the other hand, you have some pretty lofty ideas here that will take a talented/skilled writer to hash out. It's not easy.. which is part of why I tend to avoid fantasy novels. Anyone can do one but only a master can make it "real."

I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't do it. You should. I'm only saying that the success of stories of this genre (even more than others, I think) has more to do with execution than ideas. Consider posting an excerpt that we could read in light of your outline here.

I certainly will do... and you're absolutely right, they are lofty ideas and I'm aware it will take a lot of skill. That's why 7 years down the line, I'm still working on it.
