Fields Of Eldritch: The Angelspeak Ch1prt2
Fields Of Eldritch
Chapter 1 Part 2
Bane now stood at the front of a mass of men and women. "Be not afriad of Azrath, for his debt is within me. He is a wise fallen one, but cannot hurt you without the bidding of The One." The voices in the crowd rose again in mention of an unknown fifth evil and the fear of something more powerful than The Four...
"Who is it you speak of Angeltongue? Who is this one?" Mateus had not been the first to ask but had been the one whos voice stood out among the other souls. He stood when he spoke, rising at least a foot above all the men, save Bane.
"Be patient mateus," Bane shouted,"It seems your patience is about as polite as your ego is large!" Mateus blushed as though dethroned by a king or insulted by a deity. Bane gave no notice to this and glared back at the crowd.
"We will start with the four. They are lesser demons from the Brimstone Well, a place that I doubt any of you have heard of." He then continued to trace into the air with his hands and soon a perfect picture of something was before them. "This is Behemoth, the youngest of The Four," The crowd stared at a great demon with fanged teeth and fire red hair. It's skin was the color of the abyssmal skies and it's eyes the color of blood. "He is the lord of pain. He will stop at nothing to see your souls upon the gallows, still kicking, and still writhing for life unknown."
He then drew another shape in the air.
"I dare not show you his face. This is the glyph of fear. He is a treacherous foe, much to the liken of Azrath, the Blackwing. After his fall, he came across a spring of pure eldritch energy, and threw himself unto it. His face was transformed; hiddeous and terrible. But be not fooled young ones, for he can change his face into whatever so you do fear. He does know what you fear, so step lively, because chances are he is in this field tonight."
The statement once more brought the crowd into an uproar of shouts and screams.
"SILENCE!" The crowd all at once stared at Bane.
"These two monsters are nothing from whence they came. They are but children there. This," he said, motioning a new vision in the air," is N'yirstal, another fallen." An angel stood before them in a hue of blue, covered in the same heaven blessed armor that bane wore. The only difference was that this armor was as black as night.
"This is N'yirstal. Beware of him, for he is the Lord Of War, and possesses a powerful blade: Hellsting. Hellsting will gladly make short use of any of you. He was once a brother to me, but is now nothing but the shadow of an evil doing. Who N'yirstal was, is now nothing but a shade of darkness. My true brother lies dead at the bottom of the Brimstone Well."
The air hung in silence over the fields until Bane spoke again.
"You have all beared witness to the rebirth of the fourth and eldest brother, Azrath. I need not explain him. He was an angel of death and all at once became one with death upon entering the Brimstone Well. He carries the scythe Harvester, and it absorbs what it deems neccisarry.
You are all lucky. As I have said before, Azrath cannot act on impulse. He needs command from the greater demons. These four demons, are in debt to the monster known as Belsial, The Fleshscathe. He sleeps deep underground, hidden away by the angels. He is most dangerous. We must seek out the great beast and slay him in his slumber, for if we do not, this world be gone."
Three men marched from the crowd: The Brave Mateus, The Wise Calypso, and the Shade August. Mateus led the othe two forward.
"Good Bane, Angeltongue, Angelspeak; I lend you my sword in this war."
Calypso stepped forward and held his hand out to Bane.
"And I give you my magic."
August spoke weakly, but proudly.
"I give you my shade."
Bane took minutes just staring at the three men.
"You wish to fight at my side then? Is it for glory Mateus? Calypso do you seek knowledge? And August, acceptance? In all of you I see need for growth. I also see that it is possible."
All three men knelt at Bane's feet, basking in the light of his glowing armor.
"Well then...I do decree you all AngelTongues."
And with that he ran his sword twice of each persons back.
Wings of glorious gold and silver burst forth from their spines, giving them a new feeling of redemption. Bane walked to Mateus's side and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Now Mateus, I hope you are impressed. I ask you once more:
Shall i join you?" Mateus had to laugh at the thought.
"Yes Braveseek, you shall tag along."
End of Chapter 1
More to come kiddies.
