My ongoing project - Roman Quartz

Hey all,

Needed some input.

I've gotten lots and lots of good feedback from people that I know about the following project and I wanted to know how you people felt about it. Basically, I am working on a fiction trilogy novel that is about an US agent.

Its not a bond type of thing. He is a top level agent similar to 00's. They are called omegas and he is the youngest to join. He has a very bad past in which his father killed his mother and then himself. It haunts him till this day. He was raised by his uncle who brought him up in the spartan program in the goverment. A program for top level agents called omegas. He becomes omega-3. His father also worked for the agency and went crazy. Omega-2 is actually his fathers best friend who is missing. Later it will be discovered that he is working for an organization called prelium aducia that is bent on destroying and rebuilding the world. Also, it will be discovered that he is the reason for the Roman's parents death. Also, romans little brother marcus is also working for Hector, unknown to both that they are related.

Basically in the first book it explains the orgins of roman, the spartan agency, how he became a omega, and hectors plot to use romans little brother to help mass posion most of the us people in the midwest to to start the breakdown of the government. He will be a world class agent, similar to bond as far as efficiency but none of the flare or charm. It will be a more serious character that is often struggling to deal with life moment to moment and at one point becomes sucidal. Bascially a agent but Im trying to convey the reality of the story and character. The book names are going to be the following:

Weeks don't last forever
-Roughly explained above

Kings Falling
-Intro of Omega4, plot of 5 major world leaders, including the US president, working with prelium audica to furfill their world destuction plot

Alpha Strike
-Hector still alive, complete truth revealed to roman about his past, prelium audica pulls their last attempt and plants nuclear bombs in each major US city. Ending of the trilogy

I can give more if asked. This is something that I have been working on for a few years but have never finished it. Its my baby. So any help, tips, advice, or opinions. I'm all open.

Hmm, well the premise kind of reminds me of a mash between Halo, Captain Americaand James Bond. But then again, I suppose super-soldiers have become a genre of their own. Why have you chosen to call your special unit 'Omegas' instead of 'Alpha's'? Usually when I think of super training, I think of high numerical values, or even 00's, not the 24th letter of the Greek alphabet.

Interesting. I hope you decide to post more than just a basic run down of your story.

Thanks for the reply.

Well the omega's are top level agents. Adaptable in any situation or insertable into any location or enviroment in the world. Although, my personal idea with this is to make a realistic spin on this story. Sure they are agents but all means make it believable. The omega thing is actually explained in the book. The spartan agency has been around since the death of president lincoln. They have went down throught the ranks of alpha, bravos, etc. There are seven per level.
