Hi Eric,
By all means, wrapping your fiction around reality adds believability and plausibility to your story. The more you can salt and pepper your work with real facts, the more you can entertain
and inform your reader. As a reader, I want to not only be taken to a place I might not have been before, but I want to learn something along the journey with each book I read.
Interestingly enough, my next thriller,
THE HADES PROJECT, due for release in September deals with Indigo Children and the special recognition they are gaining in society today. The original working title was Indigo Ruby before the publisher settled in on the final title. Good luck with your book.
