Science Fiction Project

*The reason the subject is so bland is because I don't really have a name for the story yet.

Anyways, the project is about a war-like alien civilization that have colonized an asteroid that travels through many different galaxies. When the asteroid gets close to any individual planet, they send off a fleet of ships to capture as many of that planets' inhabitants as possible. When abducted, the prisoners are held in a cell to await their death. The aliens pick 3 or 4 prisoners at a time to go into a gladiatorial arena of sorts (filled with 10 ft barriers, traps, all enclosed in a 30 ft wall). In some cases two teams of prisoners fight each other, but for the most part they will fight the aliens. If a prisoner wins he/she/they are taken back to thier planet, and if he/she/they lose, they are sacrificed (if they aren't already dead) and used to feed the colony.

The series will contain 3 books. The first book will be written from the view of a prisoner. The second will be written in the view of one of the aliens that fights the humans. And the third book will be written about an even larger tournament held at the aliens' homeworld.

During the description of my story, I referred to them as aliens (which they are), but I'd rather classify them as humanoids. They range from 6 ft to 10 ft. The younger ones that haven't lived on the homeworld are pale, but the older ones (that have) are darker. The arena is circular in shape, with 10 foot barriers randomly placed around the arena, giving it the appearance of a labrinth.

If anyone can give me any ideas such as names, places, etc., I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey there,
Interesting story. I was thinking that I had ready many stories before on this, but now that I think on it I haven't really. The general plot of the story sound familiar, but its the writing that makes the story. Though I still can't get anything in my head, so I guess you are a sly creative writer. Hopefully, we get an insight on what your book(s) will be like.

Name and/or places? Try playing some computer games/reading some books. If you want alien names, come up with human names and spice them up I guess.

John
Nhoj'oo (Yeah the name is completely random, but I did use only the letters in the name John).

Really, you should be the one creating the names and places. Creating the world is the easiest and most fun part (for me atleast). Just come up with names you have never seen before, that you can't pronounce correctly.

Good luck with your project.

I haven't specifically for this story, but I have in the past and plan on using it for this story as well. I'm really just needing ideas to tie the story together.
