good plan...how is the story though?

and also the children are creepy because they have been through horrible traumatic experiences

Jericho's Downfall

“I’m just fucking with you. But that sniper is gunna kill us anyway.”
Jericho turned to look over the wall and saw the sniper with three others, making their way towards the duo.
“Shit!” A pause. “You can help, you know.”
Richardson was edging closer and closer to a breakdown. Jericho gave up on him. He flipped the switch to the third barrel and loaded some shotgun shells. He turned and fired and hit one of the hostiles in the chest. He continued walking. Jericho realized that the armor plus the distance that the hostiles were made the shotgun inadequate. When the hostiles were close enough to kill, Jericho would be close enough to be killed.
Jericho switched the gun back to sniper mode and took a cursory aim and fired blindly at the enemy. He hit an advancing hostile in the leg, knocking him down. He had to reload. The gun was jammed. After 30 seconds of pushing, the clip broke the jam and fit into the chamber. The enemy was 15 yards away. Jericho fired. He hit another in the shoulder, splintering it. The man fell and writhed. Then he was still in the bloodsoaked earth. Two more were left. 8 yards. Jericho loaded the clip smoothly and fired. He caught one soldier in the head. The bullet completely penetrated, leaving a hole in the other side. The back of the helmet was splattered in red. One man was left. He was reloading when he felt a stabbing pain in his upper back that he recognized. He was shot again.
“You are needed alive.” The New CIA Agent spoke in a raspy, low, automated-sounding voice. A voice-masker was obviously in the helmet. Jericho felt a hand on his shoulder. He half-heartedly expected Richardson to save him. He looked, Richardson was gone. Jericho felt a fire burst in his chest; his anger could not be contained. Richardson had deserted him. He turned and ripped the helmet off the soldier. In his rage, he gave a right hook to the man. He looked into the face of the hostile. He realized that he looked less than human. He had pure white eyes with a miniscule dot for a pupil. His nose was small, his skin was sallow and grey. His lips were also grey and his teeth were pure black. He had no hair, but he was not bald. He had a large tattoo of something in place of hair. The tattoo was a saying. It read: “To Kill, Is to Create a Better World.” Jericho was disgusted by this hideous creature and sunk to the ground. The hostile cracked Jericho in the face with the butt of his rifle. All Jericho remembered was the taste of dirt.

i couldn't delete the threads so instead i just did what you see here, not as effective but i had no choice, i basically took half of the story off of the thread so it isn't as long, i'll post it again if people critique
