~ Warning: Spoilers ahead! SPOILERS AHEAD!!! ~

Attention, Reader of this Encyclopedia. Please read the following points before going on ahead in this Encyclopedia!

1.) If you have already read the Pandora’s Resurgence trilogy, please continue on with the enjoyment of this Encyclopedia and ignore the rest of this warning.

2.) If you have NOT read the Pandora’s Resurgence trilogy, it is advised that you do not proceed because of the many spoilers ahead.

3.) If you have NOT read the Pandora’s Resurgence trilogy because you either a.) Hate novels, b.) Don’t have enough money to buy a copy, or c,) You can’t read novels because your allergic to either paper or too many words, but still know a bit about the novels and are hoping that this Encyclopedia will tell you all you need to know, then go on ahead you impatient little bugger.

4.) If you don’t know much about the trilogy, yet have heard good things about it and decided to buy this Encyclopedia just for the pretty cover, then go on ahead but be prepared for numerous headaches caused by the clouds of confusion that will be looming overhead. To cure these headaches, close this Encyclopedia, make your way to the nearest bookstore, find books with the titles of “Pandora’s Resurgence: The Search for the Box”, “Pandora’s Resurgence: Demon Hunt”, “Pandora’s Resurgence: The Final Battle”, and, just because it never hurts to have a second, or, depending on your income, intelligence, and exactly WHERE you are reading this, first, copy, “The Encyclopedia of Warth: An Author’s Guide to Pandora’s Resurgence”, bring all three to the cashier, deposit $50 dollars into the hand of the grinning cashier, make your way back home, sit down, and don’t stop reading until either a) Your dead, b) Your tired, c) Your dead tired, d) Your eyes have fallen out of their sockets, or e) You have finished all three at least ten times.

5.) If you’ve read the Pandora’s Resurgence Trilogy, and, despite what point number one said, then please, on a white piece of paper, write down the answer to the question “Why the hell NOT?!?”, mail your answer to 98 Creswell, wait at the mailbox for my reply to the answer, read it, and then hang your head in shame due to the fact that your self esteem has just been knocked down a couple pegs thanks to a masterfully scathing retort.

6.) If you have no idea what Pandora’s Resurgence is, and either you are just looking through this Encyclopedia because you wanted to “laugh at all the stupid thingies”, or if your name is Mef, then please drop the Encyclopedia on the floor, run outside, find the nearest highway, and then jump in front of a moving vehicle, preferably a truck or, for some odd reason, a tank.

All points have been noted and declared. This warning is hereby complete, so please consider yourself warned. Thank you. Come again.

This warning has been brought to you by the brains behind Pandora’s Resurgence, the first trilogy in the Warthian Chronicles series, Greg Quinnell; “It’s Quinnell, NOT Quintell!”

Section 1: Geography of Warth – Section Summary.

“And in the beginnings of THIS reality, when the universe started to give birth to it's third planet-sized baby, it surely wasn't expecting to have twins. But it did. And when it came time for them to be named, the universe was still in too shocked to name them, so the planet's did it themselves. One called itself Earth and the other, mad that it's sister got to the good name before him, called itself Wa-Earth. After thinking about it for a minute, however, he decided that Wa-Earth WAS a pretty stupid name and he would rather be called Warth. And it is here on Warth that our story takes place”
- Chapter 3; End of Introduction
Pandora’s Resurgence.

Before I begin with this summary, there’s just something I forgot to point out in the introduction. As you know, or should know if you had read the introduction, there are four sections to the Encyclopedia, the first of which you will probably soon be reading. Each of the four sections, however, also has it’s own subsections, and the subsections having their own subsections as well. This process is repeated as necessary, but can be confusing, so I will just give you a quick example. This section, Geography of Warth, has three subsections. The first subsection, The Continents, has six subsections of it’s own to represent the six continents of Warth, and each of those six subsections has four subsections of their own as well. Did you catch all that? Good. Time to go on to the summary.

Now, I might not be psychic, but I am pretty sure I know what your thinking right now. Your thinking; “Geography, huh? Might be better to just skip over this section, seeing as how it’s just going to talk about a bunch of stupid landforms.” Well, guess what? Yep. Your wrong, This section isn’t just about a bunch of stupid landforms. It’s about the towns, cities, and, most importantly, the history of those stupid landforms as well. It’s about the ruins, crypts, and landmarks of each continent. It’s about the separate world underneath the Warthian sea, which has it’s own secrets and deep, pun unexpected yet welcome, history as well. But you’d think that with all this information there’d be lot’s of reading, wouldn’t ya? Well, yes. Of course there is. I mean this IS an Encyclopedia, isn’t it? Last time I checked…yes, it was.

I am sure your getting antsy and you want to start reading through this section, because, well, who wouldn’t? But, well, I figured that it might be better to give you a more detailed, section-by-section summary to help you along your way. Why am I doing this? Well, as I said about two sentences ago, which you would have remembered if you were actually reading this, but shame on you, and lot’s of it, if you didn’t, that, being the mostly nice guy that I am, I just want to help you as much as I can. Now enough with the explaining of things, and onto a more detailed summary of things.

- The Continents: This should be an easy one to figure out, I hope. It’s about the six continents of Warth: El-Gagoth, Juerla, Metboulgo, Nondescrario, Pandosia, and Snezofos. I’ll most likely go into detail about the Countries, Cities/Towns, Landmarks, Ruins/Crypts/Tombs, and other Important Areas of each continent. There’s a lot to put in here, so it will obviously be the biggest of the three sub-sections.

- The Islands: Another easy one to figure out, just like all the other subsections in this . When you’ve finished being distracted by the palm trees, coconuts, and the volcano that looks like someone popped a zit, you will start learning about the islands of Warth. There aren’t very many islands on Warth, which is evident by the fact that there are only two subsections, the Island of Degaudz and The Smilin’ Isles, but I figured that they were important enough to deserve their own section. The Smilin’ Isles is actually an island chain consisting of five small islands; Gighous, Metnarc, Nosodawmid, Tolivy, and Untaym. This section actually is bigger then it might seem at first because, when I start to talk about the Islands, I will be informing you, the reader, about the same five categories that I used for the Continents, which are, for the benefit of those with a sudden case of severe neck cramps; Countries, Cities/Towns, Landmarks, Ruins/Crypts/Tombs, and other Important Areas.

- The Underwater World. This is going to be the smallest of the three subsections mainly because it doesn’t have any subsections of it’s own, and goes right into detail about the usual five categories. Short and to the point, don’t ya think? Of course it is.

Well…that was my much more detailed summary for this, the first section of my Encyclopedia. I think I’m probably going to do one of these for every section, if only to entertain the masses of zombie cultists, and a guy named Sean Christopher, who have actually read my novel. So….until next page, I bid you adieu.

Is all the info in the encyclopedia just back story (not actually mention in the novel) or does it come into importance at some point? Like umm----in those big ass LOTR books, they got those index things for reference?

"woe" like Neo said in the Matrix. A semi-good-semi-confused 'woe'.
