Fiction Infinity - Open Source Fiction

Hey All,
I've been using blogger to start a blog that will eventually become an open-source science fiction novel. I'd like to open it up to contributors!

Anyone can contribute an installment, as long as it makes sense given what has already been written. This can become a kind of "neverending story" that people will come back to read with each update.

have a look here, at the beginnings of it:
http://fictioninfinity.blogspot.com

e-mail me (ian_coma@yahoo.com) if you're interested in contributing. You can also leave comments on the posts right on the site.
Thanks, and keep on writing...
Ian

Sounds like a cool idea. Do you think it'll take off?

Spudley is an unknown quantity at this point
Hmm.... good idea. Hope it goes well.

Sounds very similar in concept to The Thread, which is run on www.Lit.org (this forum's sister site). The Thread is a collaborative story or poem, which people take turns at joining in with. It does need someone in charge to allocate the parts, otherwise you end up with two people writing the same section (actually, that's pretty much the same with open source software, too), but it is a really fun thing to take part in.

Take a look at the recent Threads on Lit.org, because there have been some good ones in the last couple of months.
