Comprehensive Education

Three very simple questions:

What is your idea of Comprehensive Education?

Is the current education model/system within the united states and elsewhere working?

Is it possible that eduaction could be too Comprehensive?

My answers for both the second and third question is no. Below I outline a basic general overview of my idea of comprehensive education. More details for my ideas well likely be posted later once I can write them out in an understandable manner.

Firstly I view comprehensive education as equal eduaction throughout the world. Equal in that no matter the location a child has access to the same education as anywhere else in the world. In addition eduaction must be free at the highest levels so anyone may study without worries of paying for it in the years to come. Secondly, I believe that in order for comprehensive education to be effective it must be without interruption or bias. To prevent interruption, a comprehensive education should be year round with no time in which students are sent home. In order to prevent bias, no one view point shall be forced or pushed upon students. The facts of any view point shall be known and from their a student may or may choose not to embrace any given point of view. At a bare minimum a comprehensive education program would last from one month after the 6th birthday of a student till one month after the 18th birthday. Beyond that point students could choose to further their education for free or end their schooling for the time being.

At its core a comprehensive eduaction must focus on health, reproduction, and survival. As much as I believe in equal/free education, I also believe in equal/free healthcare world wide. It is only right that future generations be given both the best education and healthcare possible. For this reason, I believe that schools of the future should have a fully functional medical facility on campus. Currently in the united states and im sure many other conturies health eduaction/sex ed is taught by teachers who arnt qaulified to do more than pass on information. However when talking about health and sex education, mere discussion with some pictures and some videos might not be enough for students. So comprehensive education on health and reproduction should at least in part come from medical professionals. If we as humans are ever begin colonizing space, it isnt going to be easy for those on the fore front. Even so, I believe that each person who is able should be capable of knowning how to survive in hostile conditions or forigen enviroments. For this reason as part of a comprehensive education each student would take at least three survival classes.

History, Math, Science, language, art, writing, guidance, reading, and many other subjects would play major roles in comprehensive education. However at this time, I don't have every detail for each aspect of the comprehensive education/health system that I am just beginning to draft a rough outline for. I am serious about refining this plan so that one day the right people may get together so that it may be tested on a small scale. If such tests prove that the plan works, the plan could begin phasing in on a world wide scale.
