All that's specified in the Bible is that Lucifer was cast "into" the earth and that he landed in a lake of fire and brimstone or possibly sulphur. (Revelations 20:10 gives the most precise answer in the Bible--i.e., not very precise.)
Mediaeval tradition places the lake of fire and brimstone in Hell, and Milton drew on this for the first book of Paradise Lost. Dante's Inferno has it that the lake is right at the centre of the nethermost pit of Hell (the Ninth Circle) and it is frozen, trapping the lower part of Satan's body in the ice. The upper part of Satan's body, above the ice, has three heads, making Satan a kind of unholy Trinity; he seems to subsist by eating Judas Iscariot alive--Judas' punishment was to spend eternity as Satan's lunch.
Anyway: there's no physical location on Earth specified. If for a novel you want it to be a place on Earth, I recommend the world's largest area of natural sulphuric vulcanism, which is the Yellowstone National Park in the United States.

I have a book of apocrypha and other writings it is in a gnostic text by enochs son .
I will try to get it this weekend back from a friend who is using it...amazing books though ..........at any rate thought came to mind that lucifer hit the earth and being made of "different stuff" went right through to his sulferey kingdom...this paticular writing identified Tyre has the approximate ground zero....anyway a though some of the more scholarly brethren here in the WF might have some knowledge of this ...I'am not very smart ....just curious....

In Ezekiel the King of Tyre is equated with Satan at one point. But Ezekiel chapter 28 makes it clear that he's a man and not a god or angel.

I may not be correct, but I think the last Exorcist movie featured the spot were Lucifer fell.
But if you want to get entirely factual about it, Lucifer never fell because he never existed. There is no fallen angel called Lucifer in either the Old or New Testament. Lucifer wasn't invented until long after. The passage about Lucifer in the Bible actually refers to the human king of Babylon. After close inspection, there is no mention of fallen angels at all in the Bible. In the Old Testament, Satan is the obedient servant of God. The entire 'Lucifer' thing was invented by the Christian Church.

Maybe this isn't pertinent but ages ago I was doing research for a paper and recall some references in the Kabbalah (or which way you prefer to spell it) to Lucifer. It depended heavily on who was translating and writing about it though. My paper was more about the The Malleus Maleficarum, (not sure on the spelling of that one either) so I wasn't concentrating on that. I don't have the paper and my memory sucks, but the worst you can do is flame me for attempting to be helpful.
Apologies if this has nothing to do with what you're looking for. The discussion is at least interesting.

In Revelations 20:10, NS, it doesn't mention anything about "Lucifer". To the best of my knowledge, the line reads: "And the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulphur, where the beast and false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever".

Yellowstone would actually suit a landing spot very well. Being a caldera its shaped roughly like an enormous crater (granted anyone with any geology experience will scoff at the timeline) but for fiction it would work nicely.
If the book gets big it would just be one of those "oh wow, look at that, maybe he did land there!" if anyone ever thought about it.
And it's in the US...cant get closer to hell than that

Equally, you could use the Dead Sea - smack bang in the middle of the Holy Land and also the deepest point on the surface of the earth.
I'd place it at the Palace of Westminster where the rest of Satan's ilk still remain but that's just me
